Gina K Design Design Team hop and challenge for November!

Hey ya'll!! This month, with Thanksgiving just right around the corner, we are doing a 'Gratitude Hop'! I personally love making thank you cards, or cards that just say, I'm grateful to have YOU in my life, they are my favorite kind to make! And at this time of year I find myself being so very thankful for all of the little things...Ok, on with the hop! :D

Welcome to another Gina K. Design Team blog hop. Today we're featuring cards with a Gratitude theme to them. If you came from Carolina Buchting's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.

I went with a fall them for my card:

I used an older StampTV Kit, Autumn Splendor
and the sentiment if from Thanks A Million stamp sets. The leaves are a copper metal and a die cut, Tattered Leaves...I added the lines on the leaves though, I just used a stylus to do that. Ok, ready for more awesomeness? Your nest stop on the hop is the oh so talented

Donna Baker!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Ya'll come back now, ya here? :D

Christmas will be here...

...before we know it!! This whole YEAR has just flown by to me! Sooo, trying to get some Christmas cards done. I don't mail out like some do, so usually I make all different cards, not mass produced ones. I made this one for the Ways to Use it challenge over on SCS this week...we were to make a 3-D item and put on our creation. Here is my card:

I bought a kit of Martha Stewart's from Wal-mart about a year ago that had these poinsettias in it to put together...it was on clearance for like 2 bucks I think. FINALLY got to use it, lol! I believe this fits the bill of be 3-D!! LOL! And just a little about me...I can't see images in 3-D movies...or those pictures where you are to find what it is , like you have to stare at it and then it just kinda pops out at you? Nope, never see those either. I only use one eye at a time, and you have to use the 3-D glasses AND both eyes to be able to see it jumping out at you...that and of course my peripheral being reduced down ...well, I am so very thankful to be able to see as much as I can! :D

Well, that is all for today! My daughter is bringing Blake to us for the next 4 days...so I better go Blake proof my house! LOL! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative weekend!

Who put the calendar on fast forward?!!

Omg! It's November already!! It sure seems like time is flying don't it? I know it sure gets away from me! LOL!

Here is a card I made for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge over on SCS...it was called 'Costume Party' ...we were to dress up a card that was not in our usual style. Well, since I am all over the board with a 'style' I went kinda with a pastel color, which I do not do often! Here it is:

Love this new set by Tami! The sentiments in it are so fun and remind me of ME, haha!

Thanks for stopping by today! TGIF!! Hope everyone has a wonderfully creative weekend. I'm fixing to head to an estate sale up the road from me! It's packed up there! I can see card lining the road on both sides even!! Wish me luck! LOL
