Up first today we have a new set by Hannah Schroepfer called Whimsical Wildflower Frame
Here is what I created for today to show you:
This set is fun to color! And even if you dont like coloring, its a gorgeous set and to me looks so festive as a birthday card! (and I dont know what is going on with this card looking blurry! Ive tried retaking and uploading...ug! I apologize!) I watercolored this card and little thing I do, since we have the M.I.S.T.I. now. I leave it in place and after watercoloring i restamp it. makes the black pop more, if you are want the lines to show. I know the thing now is no line watercoloring, which is awesome too! :D I also add some sparkle with the rhinestones and then used 2 of the Fancy Border Dies...oh im loving those too! can ya tell (ex. yesterday's post with the card kit, lol)
Ok, next up, the awesome Ocean Minded Card Kit!
if you only buy ONE thing, I'd get this! This kit will keep you busy and creative for long time! Here is what I have to show you that Ive done using the kit:
I had already showed my two ocean 'scene' cards I made over on our group at facebook, so thought I'd show these today (below I will post those too!) You are My Sunshine! A song I sang many of time to my daughter, until I heard all the words to it and its SAD! LOL! But still like the saying! I watercolored the blue sky, and to make some quick easy clouds I took a paper towel and dabbed it around to make them. I also used the sunshine stencil on the card base, see it peeking? LOL! I layered the sun shine die in yellow and black to make it pop a bit more. And then layed the stencil to barely add some 'sun rays'. all done! and then this card:
No ocean or sunshine...just the hearts stamped and heat embossed on vellum and then I colored the back with a sparkly marker by Spectrum Noir. I actually like how it kinda crinkled the vellum! :D super easy card and Billy loved it. This was his favorite, probably because I made it for him, ha!
