Color Challenge

I made this card for Kristina's color challenge this week. She has so many participants that she only gave like a day to do it, so I slapped this together really quick yesterday. I have always loved her color challenges, she amazes me of the combos she comes up with, most look good and I sure would never have thought of them! Like this one! LOL! I call my cards like this SU! style cards...mainly just stamping with inks, no coloring and such, haha!

Card Details
Stamps: Floral Frenzy from PTI
Papers: SU! cardstock: basic black, pumpkin pie, rose red, summer sun, green galore, DP from M's
Accessories: CB die flowers, brads by MMs, ribbon from LSS, paper piercing tool and pad, heat embossing powders and tools, pop dots

Thanks for stopping by and stay cool if it's hot like it is here! (bleh! come on fall time!)

  2. yes, I like her color combos too but I don't think I would EVER submit on time...it's a rare occasion that I complete a challenge/make/post it the SAME day...I like to set my own schedule! what a fabulous card, Cat! it's so striking with the black & love the layout

  3. My first reaction...Woah!

Those are some bright colors she picked for a combination. You did a great job of toning it down with a bit of black and green. Nice job!

I am with Donna. I never finish anything in a day. That vintage card you just saw, I colored the top like 3 months ago. Heeehee.
