Growing In Unity Day 5, the Finale! LOL

Howdy again all and I sure hope you have enjoyed the Unity goodness this week! I know I have enjoyed showcasing them! For my final card, I used the technique spotlight tutorial at SCS that was put up Wed and also the Ways to Use It challenge from Thursday, to use stripes. The tutorial is on how to do a pop up card and this is my first one and it was alot of fun! First here is the link to Beate's tutorial:

The hardest part I had making this card, was attaching the inside to the outside base, lol! I got it crooked at first, then didnt line up the fold...LOL! But finally got it passable, still a bit of a area there on the fold that bugs me...BUT, I just think this set from Unity is one of the cutest!! So fun to color and such cute sayings with it! (I used every bit of the stamps in this set on this one card too).

    Wow, what a great grand finale card! I was just looking to buy this yesterday.... I simply LOVE what you've done with it! It indeed, POPS! Beautiful work and congrats on your Unity Week!

    OMGosh! This card is just amaZING! I just love everything about is card. The colors, image, layout and of course the bling. You are for sure going to make someone feel really special when they open this card. I've really enjoyed your UNITY MOJO all week.

    What a gorgeous card! I love the silver rhinestones! It gives me the idea to try my silver sharpie on my self-adhesive rhinestones. I 'll have to check it out, thanks for the inspiration!

    Oh, WOW Cathy! This is fab! I love it inside and out. Nice scalloped border on the outside, will have to try that...and the inside, oh-my! You have patience... it lines up beautifully! Great sentiments too, isn't it nice when you use EVERY stamp on a card! Nice bling accents too...just fab all the way around *~*

    Finally made it back to see this last card and boy am I glad I did. It's fabulous!! I love that stamp set and the pop-up card? WAY to cute! Awesome week. You really did good. (yeah, I know, rotten grammar)
