Forgive me, my mind was blown away this week...

and I kid you not. My husband of 28 yrs. informed me late Thursday night that he wanted a divorce....this after me finding him at this girl's house, and I do mean GIRL, she's my daughters age. He says they did nothing blah blah blah...I am not gonna bore you with all the details but I do apologize for not being very active here on my blog or commenting on my friends blogs. And I do consider each of you my friend. After feeling pretty low over the weekend, I have decided that I am not rushing into any decisions right now. I have no clue what I am going to do...I dont know if I want to stay with him and work everything out....I mean, I'm not perfect, I have things I do that bother him too, But at least I can say I wasnt trying to mess around with a GIRL/BOY...ug....I keep coming back to that..sorry...but anyways....I love stamping and card making and it is therapy for me so I need to do that right now. I go through spells during the day that I break down crying and then next minute spitting mad, lol. I have been cleaning out closets and throwing stuff away like crazy. My sister tells me I'm purging, in more ways than one in doing that and I think I agree, lol! But, you might see me post a bit about what is going on, or if I need to vent that day about something, I just want to get back to my stamping that I love for right now. So gonna post a card I did last week for the sketch challenge at StampTV for now...

It's a CAS card, I have really enjoyed doing these lately, you get results quicker, lol! I even used a bit of glitter on the white stuff in the cup, go me! I made Lee proud I know, lol! I made the 'coffee stain' by taking a marker and going around the bottom of my coffee cup I had sitting beside me and then just sat it on the card, I think that turned out pretty neat for improvising. :D

Ok, thats about all for now. Are you happy now KELLI? (my sister, she been bugging me to update my blog, lol) And I am OK. and that is a good thing.

  4. You poor thing. You must be very scared. I was when I left my hateful cold husband. It's hard to see right now how happy you can be without him. Life becomes much easier without. You'll have more time for friends who like to do what you like not pick up and cook for someone who obviously doesn't appreciate you. Smile girlfriend you can be free and love it!

  16. Cat, if you hang in with him, life will get better. I think forgiveness is the only way to live with your man. I have been married 38 yrs. and it does get better. If you decide to seperate and divorce, that will only make your life harder and you will get bitter in the long run. If we can't forgive others, God will not forgive us for our sins.

  17. Cat...I am so sorry! I have no other words to say but I am sorry that this is happening. I will be praying for you and know that I think you are super talented and in time things will work out in someway and somehow. Everything we go through teaches us something and in this (possibly years down the road) you may see. Again...I am sorry.

On a side crafty note...I love your card! So clever of you! You rock my friend!
