Gina K Design Illustrators/Design Team Blog Hop for October!

Hey ya'll!! Welcome to our challenge and hop for this month! For this month, we were to use a favorite background technique that Gina has done a video on...and chose this one:

This is such a fun one! This is my creation with using this technique:

I added a bit of distressing too on mine. The red ribbon you see is some I hand dyed....After seeing Nina's gorgeous ribbon she did, I wanted to try doing some. (I dyed 3 different colors, but this is the only one that survived the stray kitty burglar that stole them off my back deck as they were drying, lol!!) Well, I did not use the same kind of bias tape she used apparently, lol! I love how hers is more 'gauzy' looking than mine, but this had a distressed look to it, on the folded part, so decided to use it on this creation...I also stiffened the twine a bit and made it all wrinkly/curly....I kinda like how it turned out, sorta growing on me, haha! If you want to know how I dyed mine, or curled the twine, you can email me and I will get all the details to you! Ok, ready for more fun inspiration?

Thanks sooo much for stopping by! Have a wonderfully creative weekend! Are you loving the cooler temps we have now?? I know I am!
