CPS #233...surprise!

Hey ya'll!! And you will be surprised because I used stamps from PTI!! and not my beloved Gina K Stamps! ...I love sunflowers and when I saw the little mini set I had to get it...I can never have enough sunflower stamps!! :D Here is my card for the sketch over on The CPS Blog:

I used some of the packing stuff that came with some cardstock from PTI, the corrugated stuff there and painted it with white craft paint, did some distressing with inks and my scissors, sprayed the card base with some glimmer mist too. I probably kinda stretched the sketch a bit, but my papers just did not want to cooperate with me...wasted a whole sheet of dp tyring to get it like I wanted and then STILL didn't, lol! Here is the sketch:

Soo, hope it was a nice surprise, lol! That's all for now. I have been challenging myself lately with sketch challenges...they always seem the hardest for me to follow for some reason....what's a 'challenge' for you?

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderfully creative week!!

  1. I love it Cat! Sunflowers are such wonderful things and you've done them a great justice here. Love all the great details too. Right at the moment I'm challenged by my inability to get focused on much of anything - is it the end of summer blues you think? ~chris

  4. This is awesome! I had a pile of torn corrigation for a couple years, that I planned on using on a scrapbook project. I just threw it away a few weeks ago. See why I hate cleaning up?
