Monochromatic card...it's not easy being green...

I made this card for the Monochromatic challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog this week. And every since I started doing this green card, that darn Kermit the Frog song has been stuck in my head!! MAJOR tune wedgie! LOL! I do love monochromatic cards though, takes the hard part of deciding what colors go together out of the equation, haha! Here is my card:

I didn't really color, but used inks in green tones and cardstock, so think this will still qualify....The scallop is cut out of clear acetate and then I put a bit of white stayz on ink on the edges to bring it out more. The yo-yo out of material I purchased at Michaels back in the material section. They had fat quarter squares and these little matching yo-yos already done up so I didnt have to do them myself, LOL!

Thanks for stopping by today...TGIF!! And hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. This is lovely. The monochromatic look is just wonderful (green is a great color) and I love the little flower "Yo-Yo", how cool that they were already made up. (I'd go for that).
