Hey ya'll! I had a bit of time the other day to play in this week's sketch challenge over on the CPS Blog! Here is my card:
I used the new Petals and Wings StampTV Kit from Gina K Designs, of course! :D See that black thingy? it's called a Page Pin Up, by Karen Foster Designs. I picked it up at my LSS, I think they are way cool! You could hang stuff from them even, if you wanted. Which I started to do with the butterfly, but didnt look right. So it landed where it is at, LOL!
Ok, that's all from me for today! Got new Gina K stamps in the house so will be working away for our next release, which is April 12th! Cant wait to share! I have used one set with my Smashbook too! :D Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative weekend!

ATC Tuesdays, #6!! Yes, I know it's Wednesday! :D
Hey ya'll!! Well, yesterday just got away from me for posting my ATC Tuesday thingy...I had forgotten I hadnt even edited the photos and that takes me forever, especially when I couldnt find where I had saved them, lol! Anyways, gettin' it done today! (And, gonna toot my horn just a bit....I got two of my cards accepted into CardMaker magazine! WOOHOO!! I am so excited! It feels like the first time, becuase years ago, I didnt get one sent in to PaperCrafts that I had accepted, :( , and these both use my beloved Gina K Design stamps! :D ok, all done tooting that horn...lol.)
I am loving this air drying clay to work with and put onto cards! When it drys, its super light weight...sorta feels like the foam board stuff.
For this ATC, I stamped a leave from Melanie Muencher's A Year of Leaves into the clay.
This picture is after the stamped clay had dried for about 2 hours...I trimmed it down some.
I let the stamped clay dry for about 3 more hours and then took it and the versamark ink and dabbed it on the leaf. Not too hard though, you want the lines to still show after embossing...and I used some gold embossing powder on it. And sometimes, you might see a bubble come up from the clay, but mine went right back down.
Close up of the gold embossed leave.
Stamped and tore the sentiment.
In this picture, I have my elements that I am going to put together, and I have sponged the edges of all of it. The tag you see was a premade tag that I got at Michael's in their dollar bins! It even has matching papers, 8x8 size. They were not a dollar though, they were 2 bucks, still a bargain!
Attached a Clock piece from Tim Holtz Ideology line.
Here I have tied some seam binding ribbon through the eyelet of the tag, attached the gold leave and a bauble to the ribbon with a jump ring.
TaDA!! All done with the sentiment! And here is a picture of my tray, how its looking with all of them:
Looking kinda cool, huh? I am loving it! :D
Ok, that's all from me for today! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving the wonderful comments that you do, makes my day!

Spring Wreath
Hey ya'll!! Yes, Spring is in the air indeed! I love this time of year, not as much as the Fall, but love seeing all of the flowers blooming! So I decided I needed a new wreath for my door and I had all of the stuff laying around here to make this one:
Not a lot of stamping, just the sentiment that is from the Gina K Designs set called 'Great Sayings'. The rosettes where made with the Tim Holtz die, the oval piece is a piece of unfinished wood that I painted with some gesso and then sponged the edges and added the sentiment and some more rosettes to. And Me and hot glue guns do NOT get along...I have two blisters! LOL! Anywayssss...its fun to use our card making stuff to make a pretty like this I think!
Ok, that's all from me for today! It's a gorgeous 75 degrees here today and Im fixing to go supervise hubby in the garden, haha! Have a wonderful creative day!

Stamps: Great Sayings from Gina K Designs

ATC Tuesdays, #5!!
Hey ya'll!! Well, I meant to have this post up before this afternoon, but my daughter and grandson came down last night and well, you know how that goes, lol! But he's napping right now in this rainy sleeping weather so I decided to come get 'er done! :D
I decided to play with some acrylic paints this time around.
This is an ATC acrylic precut piece that you can find at Hobby Lobby back in the canvas and art pads section. It's really sturdy too, a plus when painting on it! Here I have gotten out the paints and am fixing to start playing.
The way I painted and played this time...I used a dry brush and brushed some paint on, then squirted with my mini mister. I then took a baby wipe and smeared my paint around.
Here I have flicked on some green to represent grass...and again, misted with the mister and dabbed with a baby wipe.
Added some ground the same way. After this far, I dried this with the heat gun some. It was pretty dry after I got done.
Here I added a puffy white cloud, did not mist or dab this though.
Another $1 jewelry store find, a feather earring! I just pulled the J-hook off...it comes off very easily...it IS a dollar store earring afterall, lol!
Stamped the sentiment and then sponged the edges.
Attached the feather with scor-tape.
Attached the ticket, that I have sponged and tore the edge of, with the tiny attacher to the ATC.
TaDa!! I decided to tie a little bit of twine to it on the bottom too. This was a fun one to do! I almost covered up all my playing with the paint though didnt I? LOL!
Ok, that's all for today! We have a Gina K Design team hop tomorrow so hope you will come back and see me then! We are gonna make you stop and smell the roses...or flowers! :D!
ATC Details:
Stamps: Visual Artisty by Tim Holtz from Stampers Anonymous
Papers: Acrylic ATC from HL
Accessories: Acrylic paints, mini mister, paintbrush, baby wipes, feather earring, scor-tape, twine, sponge, distress inks, ticket stub.

ATC Tuesdays, #4! Yes, on a Friday! :D
Hey ya'll!! I wanted to get this post up, since I had missed the last two Tuesday's getting ready for the Gina K Release and then our DT hops we had...soooo, doing it on this wonderful Friday! It's so beautiful right now here in Texas! The Jonquils are blooming everywhere! And the annual Jonquil Festival is this weekend In Old Washington, AR!! I love going to this little town for this...although Ive missed the last couple of years, hope to this time around!
Ok, now for my ATC! This one is a pretty simple one!
I am in love the washi and decorative tape! So decided to use this on my ATC, I just randomly stuck some on.
After laying the tape down, I used a background stamp and distress ink and just stamped all over.
Sponged the edges with distress ink.
Stamped and cut out this oval shape. This oval and the background stamps I used are from some Martha Stewart stamps I got on clearance for like around 3 bucks at Michael's! Love finding clearances like that...I think there were regularly 15 bucks! :D
In this picture, I am gathering up the stuff I am going to use putting it all together....I decided not to use the 'home' ticket because I couldnt find a good spot for it without covering up the decorative tape, which I wanted it to show! I also tore a box up and used the corrugated part and tore it to fit my ATC and sponged it also. The little metal flower is from a pair of earrings that I purchased from the 'Just a Dollar' jewelry store we have in Texarkana...my daughter loves this store! AND, I love it too, but I pick things out that I can use with my crafts! It's only a dollar so its ok to break it and use like this! LOL! I mean, I spend more on stuff specifically made to embellish my card than that! LOTS more! Next week's ATC will use another dollar jewelry item too!
Tada!! I used the tiny attacher (Tim Holtz mini stapler) to attach some things and tied a piece of twine around the clip I used to attach the dangling flower....see, really easy one this time!
Ok, that's all today! I'd love to see if you decide to play along with me in making an ATC! And if you do this week, try using an old piece of jewelry on it! :D Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a very creative day!

Gina K Designs March Release Inspiration Hop, Day 4!!
Hey ya'll!! Welcome to our 4th and final day for this release's Inspiration Hops!
The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a couple of days after the hops!!
We have two stamp sets once again to showcase today for you. Up first is the newest 'One Free With Three' set called Great Sayings...Here is my sample, actually two, with this set:
Both of these cards use the same stamp from the set, and same supplies...one just a bit more on it I guess than the other. This was also for the CAS challenge over on SCS this week that I was a guest designer for, white with shades of blue...I believe these fit the bill...just that 2nd one kinda pushes the CAS design to the limit, LOL!
And next up is the 3 year Anniversary Duo Stamp set, (OMG!! I can't believe its been THREE years with StampTV!!) that you can get free with a 35.00 purchase, through the end of this month! It is called Believe In Yourself...
I spruced up this little box set of cards I got at HL on clearance! I LOVE how this turned out and it will make a cute little gift for this young girl I know! Here is another picture of it with the box lid open and the matching envelope:
All I did was stamp the butterfly onto some pink cardstock and used some glitter pens and white gel pen on it! What took the longest was all of the die cutting for all of the little cards, 20 total! LOL! My shoulder reminded me that it didnt like that activity too much, (I have a partially torn rotator cuff that I need to have surgery on...bleh....LOL! Putting THAT off as long as I can!)

today we are showcasing the new StampTV Kit called Petals and Wings...I am so loving this kit, and the gorgeous DP that comes with it! Here is what I have done for today:
I stamped onto my beloved kraft cardstock in white chalk ink and also heat embossed with white embossing powder to make it a more vibrant white. Gave the edges a bit of distressing because I had had too much of the bright cards, haha! I think this card has a 'countrified' feel to it! :D

Hey ya'll!! Welcome to our 2nd day of March Release's Inspiration Hop! So glad you stopped back by and I sure love reading all of your comments! :D We have two sets we are showcasing today for you. Up first is Theresa Momber'snewest set called Wild About You...Ive been having lots of fun with this set!
I decided to show my elephant card I made with this set for today. I went with a bit of a CAS style card, did some embossing on the card base to add dimension to it and then just colored the elephant, cut him out and stuck it on the base! Looks like he is charging off the page, lol! Here is another card that I showed at the release party:
This set just screamed 'Do a Sunset!' to me! LOL! I did this by sponging various inks around a punched out circle. Love how this turned out!
Next is Rupa's newest set called Blooming With Blessings...this is SUCH an adorable set! Here is my card for today:
I chose to use the little duck and the sentiment that fits him perfectly! I colored with copic markers and added some sparkle, which you cant really see, with some copic spica glitter pens. This is a bright and cheery birthday card that will surely make someones day! :D
