An ATC

Hey y'all!! I decided I ought to post a little something I have made ....I didnt do step by step photos of this ATC though, because it's basically just gluing the stuff on, lol! Here it is:

I used some pieces I got from Sky Blue Pink, a store with all kinds of mixed media items. I think that little door knocker is just the cutest thing ever! :D I used a stamp from Unity Stamp Co. called 'On this Journey Together' and just went with that theme on this. The monopoly card, the ticket and world stamps....After this, I only like 2 more ATC's from completing my holder for them! yay! I should have been finished though a long time ago!! LOL! I blame my Adult onset ADHD or whatever....something like that, lol. Im easily distracted by shiny pretty things.....

Ok, that's all from me today! I ordered me a new computer, which is suppose to be here today...and I have lots of files I need to back up to disc so I can transfer to my new puter...hate doing that part. But this computer is like 6 years old and slower than sin...and Im wanting a new Silhoutte Cameo too because Gina K says I need it, LOL! noooo, I know its an awesome machine and I WANT one!! but the old computer would not hold up to it I dont think....anyways...sounded like a good excuse to get one to me! :D Sooo Ill be busy getting all that done! yay! :D See ya soon!!

Reject...but not complaining! :D

Hey Y'all!! (notice I know how to spell it now, thanks to a reader!lol!) I got a rejected card for ya today. One I submitted for a call and it was a sketch challenge one, but didnt get accepted. BUT, not complaining because I had THREE that DID get accepted, yay! :D Here is my card:

I did a bit of watercoloring on this. I used my distress markers to do that with too. I am loving those markers! So many different ways to use them too, and water coloring is one of the ways I want to learn to do better....practice makes perfect, right? I need alot of practice, lol!

My daughter was here Wednesday - Friday, so I havent really gotten much of anything done, lol! I went into town with her and got a few things. Michaels is carrying a line a love...I really dont know if its new or not, but its new to me. Bead Landing/Found Objects...have you seen this stuff? really fun small stuff that can be added to a card or for making really fun altered items! I want ALLL of it! LOL! So look for some of that in the future!

Ok, off to create something, got an itch! LOL! Thanks for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderfully creative day!

Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

Today we are showcasing 3 stamps sets! So I will try to keep my chatter down...a bit, lol!

Up first today is the new StampTV kit Hello Sunshine...these kits are so AWEsome! With all the stamps you get..and then the ribbon, and cardstock...Pure AWEsomeness! Here is my card with that set:

I stamped the flowers in various distress inks onto some designer paper...added pearls to the middle of the flowers and I do so love how that turned out! The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of canvas ribbon with Stayz-On ink and the kraft cardstock flowers were made with a Cuttlebug die.

Next up is a new set called Birthday Greetings....WONDERful sentiments in this set to use both outside and inside! LOVE that in stamps! Here is my creation with that set:

I wanted to showcase just the sentiment...you can use it with just the sentiment and then add all the froo-froo stuff like I did with diecuts! This for sure is a girly girly card, lol! I'm thinking somebody who loves PINK, lol!

Ok, last but not least is the new One Free With Three set called Life's A Beach....I LOVE this fun set! Here is my creation with it for today:

I kinda wish I had of made the die cut behind the sentiment in a pale yellow to look more like the sun now, lol! For my waves I used the negative of the scallop dies. And after making this card, I HAD to go purchase the Fiskars Wave punch, haha!

Ready for more awesome eye candy? here ya go!!

Up first today we have Theresa Momber's newest set called "Under the Sea". And true to Theresa's wonderful style, these stamps are so life like! Here is one card I have made with the set:

I found Nemo! haha! I do so love that movie, so with the clown fish in the set, I HAD to paint him like Nemo...although, there are so many different colors of clown fish I found out. For the 'water and sand', I sponged that using distress inks. The fish is colored with copics. The pearls are colored with a copic marker too to match the colors. I also did this card for a challenge I hosted for the release party (due TODAY!) Here is that card:

You had to make a masculine CAS card! I love how this turned out! This set made me go out and buy the wave punch, lol!

Ok, next up is Rupa Shevde's newest set called Enjoy The Journey. Here is my card with this set:

I decided to make a little suitcase to go along with the 'theme' of the stamps! Melanie and I had the same idea with this set, lol! She is going to have a wonderful tutorial on her blog today of how she did hers. On mine, I embossed a panel with a CB folder, the added UTEE two times to give it a really glossy finish. The 'handle' of my suitcase was cut using oval nesties. I think this turned out pretty good! :D

Ok, ready for more awesome eye candy? Here ya go:

Thanks so much for stopping by this wonderful Monday morning (or whatever time it is for you, it's wonderful too! :D) We have one more day of hops left, tomorrow, and one of the 3 sets we will be showcasing is the new StampTV kit! It rocks!

Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Hop, Day 1!!

Hey Ya'll!! Welcome to day one of our May Release Inspiration Hops! Glad you came by!

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Up first today is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set, her next additon of State Flowers, this one is called "Stately Flowers 4". Oh so much FUN! Here is my card using this set that I gave a sneak peek here on my blog of:

I went for an elegant look and whats more elegant that black, white and red, right? I colored the flower (in red, because Melanie LOVES red!) after stamping it two times, fussy cut one of them to pop up and give it more dimension! I love coloring these flowers...but you will probably see along the way some that arent colored and they look fantastic too!

Ok, next up is Tami Mayberry's newest set called: Ticket Trio...OH the possibilities with this one! Here is my card I did, a masculine card:

Getting my brother's birthday cards done early! The biggest ticket in this set will fit the Tim Holtz Ticket Strip die, which is what I used. They will also coordinate with Spellbinders ticket dies too, I just didnt have them.

Ready for more eye candy?

Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration: (and don't forget, leave comments along the way for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of Gina K stamps!!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and see you Monday, same time, same place with day 2 of our Inspiration Hop!! Have a wonderful weekend!
