Rejecto #2 - Bleach as a stamp

Hey y'all! I am sharing another reject card with ya. I wasnt too crazy about this one either, lol! But sometimes you just never know what another person may like, so sent it in anyways. It uses bleach as a stamp:

I took a small saucer and laid some paper towels folded on it, then poured bleach onto the paper towels. This acted as a stamp pad. I just tapped the stamp in it and then stamped as usual onto the cardstock. It's fun to watch it dry, like one of those old polaroid cameras you could watch develop! :D yea, telling my age there arent I? haha!

I had a few more rejects, but thinking I might enter them in another call for a different magazine, lol! Like I said, you never know what one might like, right?

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm thinking I need to do another blog candy soon. Been a LONG time since I did one! So maybe next week I can get that post up! Be looking for it! :D

We have 3 sets to show case today for you! Up first today is Beth Silaika's newest set called 'Lots of Dots'...this set is a wonderful set for making dotted backgrounds or just to use as accents. But, I took a different approach! I see flowers in just about everything I guess! Here is what I did with this set for today:

I stamped the dotted circle images to represent flowers, and then made the 'stems' with other images that are in the set! How fun is this?! VERY easy to do too!

Next up is Debbie Corbari's awesome 'Darling Divas'! And again this month we have 3 brand spanking new ones. Mama-to-be-Diva, Serenity Diva, and Day At The Park Diva, which is the one I decided to use for today. Here is my card for today:

Ive made another girly card...are you surprised!? LOL! I'm gonna have to go dig out the kraft cardstock to recover from all the girly things! Must me that I'm wanting spring time...they look springy to me too! :D Especially this lovely Diva on her picnic blanket! How utterly adorable are these Divas!?!!

Up last but not least is this months new 'One Free With Three' set called Petite Borders. This set can really add such an awesome accent to your card! That is what I have done with mine:

I mainly used a designer paper line, Carta Bella's True Friend collection, and then stamped the border I chose to use as sorta framing it. To me it adds just the right touch to this super quick card!

Ok, ready for my eye candy? Here ya go!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and for all of the days! Did you leave a comment on all the blogs? If so, you are entered to win an awesome prize package which will be announced on Stamp TV Forum on Thursday! Hope you have a wonderfully creative week! Again today we have two stamp sets to show case for you! Up first is Theresa Momber's newest set called The Northwoods. I decided to make a masculine card...so many of us struggle with that! I was going for a wood burning look...well, here it is:

That oval is a piece of thin wood. I stamped with distress ink and heat embossed it also. Then I played around adding some inks with water brush...eh...its OK, lol! My hubby liked it! :D

Ok, nest is Becky Oehlers' newest set called, Poster Board Sentiments...and I showed a couple of cards from a set that I have made using premade cards, but adding dp and stamps to dress them up. Here are a couple more cards from that set I have made:

I love how these turned out! I have a cousin in Alabama this is the birthday fairy...she sends just about everybody in our whole family a birthday card every year and she also does this for her community and church. Sooo I'm making a bunch of these up to send to her and this stamp set has really made that a breeze!! LOVE how easy it is to use this set to make these quick birthday cards!

Ok, ready for more awesome eye candy? Here ya go:

Today we have 2 brand spanking new stamp sets to showcase for you. Up first is Tami Mayberry's newest set called All Occasion Tags 2...I loved the first one and love this one too! This is what I did for today with it:

I love this tag set, it adds such a fun touch to a simple card. I added a bit more on this card, but to me, the tag would have been just fine on it by itself, without all the foo-foo I added! But I wanted to add a bit more to it this time so hopefully it will help the recipient 'get well soon'! :D

Up next is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called A Year of Flowers 2...yep, Mel finally did a sequel! This are such fun sketchy flowers! Here is my card for today with this set:

I decided to do a bit of watercoloring. I used some Twinkling H20s on this...IRL, it sure sparkles! Then I just fussy cut the rose out and attached to my card design. I really like how this turned out, just wish I could have captured the sparkle for ya! And remember, you do not have to be a 'colorer' to get this set...Mel does an awesome video on her blog (link is below to Mel's blog) showing you how to quickly and easily color these flowers!

Ok, ready for more awesome eye candy? Here ya go, links to my fellow DT:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! We have two more days of hops for you to join us in, hope to see you back for those too!!

And thanks so much for the wonderful words of encouragement about my reject!! I never know what the magazines want...sometimes they love me and sometimes they dont, lol! Its all part of this wonderful little hobby of ours! I do this mainly because I enjoy and love doing what I do....if a card I make just happens to get picked, well, that's like icing on the cake...or maybe the Ice cream!??!! LOL!
