It's a Trifecta! Three stamping companies have come together to bring you this awesome blog hop! Gina K. Designs, My Sweet Petunia, (where the M.I.S.T.I. and the new Cut Align comes from!) and Picket Fence Studios (where the New Life Changing Brushes are from! And the awesome stencils I have used!) I am so thrilled to be a part of it too! Not only do we have some wonderful new products to share with you, there will also be THREE $50 gift certificates given away which will be randomly drawn from all of the comments on the blogs. Winners of these gift cards/certificates will be announced on the company blogs no later than June (wha...??? June already?) 7th! Ok, let me get to showcasing some of these goodies! :D
Up first I have this card I made using Picket Fence Studios' Floral Damask Stencil and I have also used those awesome Life Changing Blender Brushes...omg I love these brushes!
I had alot of fun with this card, doing the stencil and blending, as you can see, lots of grays! I used all gray tone ink from Gina K. Designs and the Elegant Asters Stamp Set from Gina K. Designs (used to be a kit but its now available seperate!) I used the butterfly and stamped it with Stayz On ink onto some Cricut glitter papers then heat embossed it. The 'hello die cut is cut several times and glued to where it looks like a shadow, hopefully, lol. I also used some of the cricut glitter paper on a layer of the hello also. And I used the new Cut Align from My Sweet Petunia and the M.I.S.T.I. too of course! I used the Cut Aligns to do the diagonal cuts on the edges. These Cut Aligns are so awesome...I used the wrong stamp set and cant really show yet a card I made that I really like! AND, I will show at a later date some leather goodies I made, ring, earrings and bracelets, using the Cut Align! :D BUT, I think this card would brighten somebodies day! IT'S sure bright, lol!
Ok, next creation I did, I used the Life Changing Brushes again along with the Stencil Peacock Tail. Just a bit of info about these LCBB, and this is straight from Nicole :
- LCBB are made of thousands of plastic hairs that meant to pick up but NOT absorb ink.
- You can blend softly by holding onto the handle, blend medium by holding the head of the brush, or complete coverage by flattening the bristles. (this really does work this way!)
- Can be used with any water-based ink that doesn’t cause the brush to become stiff.
- Don’t use with acrylic paint or Glitz Gel because of glitter.
- Wash with either brush cleaner or mild soap and water
- You don’t have to clean. Excess ink will wipe off onto scratch paper
- You can clean with a baby wipe too Or GKD Tidy Towel that I like to use!
Again, I used the Elegant Asters Stamp set and Gina K. Designs Inks to create this card. I was making this card and hubby even noticed this one. He said its a really pretty card and thats a big compliment from him, lol. The brushes make it so fun using the stencil! This is a big card and I will have to make a custom envelope, and it will take a bit more to mail. I dont mind, every once in awhile someone you love deserves a really special card that costs a bit more to mail, lol!
Ok, ready from some blowyoursocksoff eye candy? I cant wait to hop myself! haha! Below is a full list of participants also, but you should have come from Jeanne Streiff's Blog and your next stop will be Lydia Fiedler's Blog
Thanks ssoooo very much to all of you that stopped by and dont forget to leave those comments! Besides it making a card makers day, you COULD win one of the prizes!
