Hey Y'all! Its a new year! :D Welcome to my little part of the web!
Welcome to our first day of the new January Release and new year! And its a HUGE release this time! Have you seen? Have you ordered?! Well, cant wait to share my creations with these new sets with you and hopefully give you a bit of inspiration! And as always, be sure to comment and hop along the blog hop to be entered to win a $50 gift certificate, one for each day and we will hop for THREE days!
You should have come from the oh so talented Arjita Singh's blog! and I'm sure you were blown away by her mad skills!
Up first today we have Melanie's new set Embroidered Flowers and dies:
Here is a card I made, a bit different one! Different style sorta...
This card is flat, does not open up except for the little focal image on top, like this:
Just did something a little different! It actually was going to be a ATC size little card and then i decided to just mount it on a flat base. I like how it turned out! :D Here is up close and personal view:
I heat embossed the needle in silver to give a more realistic look. Then did the shadowing on the thread piece. I only stamped half the leaf, to seem like Im finishing embroidering the other half with the thread! LOL!
Ok, next up is Beth Silaika's new set Happy Hearts and dies:
And here is what I have done for today with this set:
I kept this pretty simple, used one of the circles with the little heart and the sentiments you see. I also used the background stamp Rose Lace . I love this background stamp with Beth's set, reminds me of old lace and nostalgic valentines! I heat embossed this stamp too and then used distress ink in vintage photo to age everything, even the little circle. Used tulle as my ribbon and all done!
Thats all I have for you today! Your next stop on the blog hop will be the oh so ooberly talented Donna Idlet!
You can find allll of these new goodies in the What's New section linked below with my Affiliate link! Thanks!
