Welcome to day 2 of this month's Gina K. Design's release! Glad you stopped by today! We have a total of FOUR sets to showcase today for you! AND as always, be sure to leave comments on all the blogs for your chance to win a $50 gift certificate which will be announced by Gina a few days after the hops on her blog! Ok, ready? Let's get going!
Up first for today I have two sets by Emily Loggans called Baby Boy and Baby Girl
And my first card I used the Baby Boy set:
Ive been loving that kraft lately havent i? LOL! I did a CAS card, cut some strips in various blue colors of GKD cardstock and to help me align them I scored at1/4" intervals and then just glued them on. Stamped the sentiment and tied the bow and tada! all done! I added a strip on the inside , just to insert a gift card, super simple! And now the Baby Girl set:
For this card, I also used the Master Layout and oval dies and for the stripes on this one I just used the ink pads in various purple shades and swiped them direct to the paper to create them. I fussy cut that little flower and kept it simple too, no coloroing, lol! See the little purple clay heart in the bottom right corner? From the new embellishments! LOVING those! And the center of the flower has one of the dazzling rhinestones!
Next up is the new set by Hannah Drapinkski, Graceful Greenery
Here is my card for today with this set:
I stamped the main image and then colored some of the flowers and fussy cut them and glued them around the greenery. I love how it turned it, just the look i wanted! But goes to show you dont have to coloring ALL of it if you arent a 'colorerer' haha! Like me! I so love this sentiment too!
Up next is a new set by Lisa Hetrick, Free To Flourish
And my card for today with this one:
For this card I created a watercolor background on the image panel that looked like a canvas all hanging to me! I then gold heat embossed the arrows and cut those out with the matching dies and the flower and greenery also used the dies on. i fussy cut the hanging part, why I dont know, just looked better to me for what I was going for, lol! The sentiment I just stamped on a strip of paper and dove-tailed the ends and glued it on! I used twine and a brad to make it look like it was hanging (or I hope, lol). How fun is this set??
Ok, next up on your hop is the ohsoawesome.......................
