Michelle's card I CASEd
Such a fun card! My black and white awning got crooked on me so I stuck that ribbon on button on it to make it less noticable, lol!
Ok, that's all for today! Have a wonderful creative Tuesday!

Robeez inspried cards
I made these two cards for the CAS challenge and the sketch challenge at StampTV.com last week. Both cards were inspired from this:
Robeez Shoes!
Here is the first one I did:
See that yummy dark chocolate base cardstock? That came in the Floral Frenzy kit from Gina K Designs. I really love the weight of this paper and this rich deep color. It probably looks black on here, but its not, lol! Here is the other card I made:
This was also inspired from the shoes, and also a sketch challenge at StampTV AND the CAS challenge this week at SCS, to use punches on our cards. I really enjoy doing CAS cards sometimes, and then when you have a sketch challenge and inspiration piece, well, doesnt take much thinking at all! LOL!
Hope you are having a wonderful relaxed Sunday! It has been beautiful today here in TX, still a bit chilly, but at least not storming or raining! Thanks for stopping by!

LOOK!! *doing happy dance*
I got my camera back! yay! Well, actually not the one I had, they had to give me another one after MUCH ummm discussion with the manager of Best Buy, lol! Anyways, here is one of the cards I did this past week, it was for the color challenge and sketch challenge from last week at SCS, (Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun and Kraft, with black as optional). So I pulled out this old stamp (it says 'Stamp Happens, Inc. on the side of the wood block):
This is one of my favorite wood block stamps and I know I have done a card with it before, but this one looks much better I think, lol! Love those colors together, so bright and fun! And the bees look like they so happy and so am I since I have my camera back now, lol!
Ok, off to upload some more. Will be posting another later!

p.s. I am so disappointed I didnt get to participate in the Unity blog hop though..but just did not get my camera in time...:(
Card Details
Stamps: Bees from Stamp Happens, Inc., Polka Dot Basics from PTI
Papers: SU! cardstock listed in colors above
Accessories: ribbon, button, hemp twine, scallop border punch, brads, pop dots, glue dots, white gel pen, copic marker.

I'm here! and a bit of horn tooting!
Howdy yall! Im still here, but still no camera...I get it back TOMORROW! or better! But that is what Best Buy told me Tuesday. If they dont get it back to me tomorrow, then I want another camera is how I feel. But I wont go into that rant of mine just yet, lol.
I also wanted to share something that I am so tickled about! I WON!!! I won!!! My Tiger Lilies card was one of the winners from the Stamp It! Ok, working now!
Well, at least me going through google reader is now. It apparently was thinking I was a 'bot' or something like that it kept saying. So I did as it said, to delete cookies and temp folders AND histories. Still couldnt get to reply to any blogs. Even if I went directly to the blog, not through the reader, I still could not reply if it loaded the page separately or a pop up window. Soo then I downloaded SpyBot and ran that on it and it found several things it had to remove. After that, everything is fine! YAY! I was in panic mode, lol! All I do know about that is it had a bunch of 'cookies' listed that it removed, the SpyBot program. I'm just happy I can comment again, lol.
Now, my camera is a different story. I had to take it back to Best Buy. I couldnt get it to work for anything, and so I gave up and took it to the Geek Squad, lol! I bought extra insurance on it, so hoping they will get it all fixed and tell me what happened with it too. BUT in the mean time, I cant take pictures or upload any cards! Bummer! And I had challenge cards I have done and everything...well, guess when I get it back I will have alot to post though, lol!
Ok, off to do my commenting on all the gorgeous creations ya'll have made!!

Their google readers? I can see the posts through, but when I go to click through to comment, it wont bring the site up, I get an error message from Google. So I tried just going to my site, not through google reader and got the same error message. I was using Firefox. Sooo then tried IE, and was able to get to my site that way...Anybody else having troubles?

A swap card I made.
This is my card that I made for a Gina K swap we did around the first part of February I think? LOL! Such bad memory I have, haha!
I used Asela's set called 'Framed Friends' from Gina K Designs for my cards I did. This card has alot of dimension in it..the sun/flower is popped up and the frame itself also, and these images are really alot of fun to color!
I don't do swaps often, but every once in awhile I will. I dont know why I dont, I just love getting such awesome creations from everybody! It's really inspiring to see the creations in person to me, much better than on the blogs and such...cause you can see so much more beauty in them! I will be sharing the ones I received too in the next couple of days, just have to show them off! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful Friday AND weekend!!

Cheers! and a RAK!
Happy Wednesday to all! The week is half way done, yay! Well, actually, this is the down swing for my DH, he works the 4/10 days. Only nice thing about that is the 3 days off he gets! Which this weekend, we MIGHT be going somewhere...havent decided completely yet...Anyways...on to the good stuff! or sorta...haha!
This card took me 2 days fiddling with it. This is actually about the 3rd attempt at making it, lol! I finally said, that's it, I am gonna finish this and get it to the point its presentable of pass out trying, haha! Here it is:
This is Melanie's new set from Gina K Designs called 'A Charmed Life'. It is such a neat set! It has all these little charms you can put on the wine glass...and I was attempting to copy some frosted wine glasses that I have with this card, lol! It didnt quite turn out how I envisioned though, but I do think this is passable now! The wine glass is stamped on vellum with StazOn ink and I also stamped the little plastic tag from Gina K with StazOn ink too and went around the edge of it with a gold leaf pen to give it a bit of bling. To make the 'wine' in the glass, I stamped onto real red SU! card stock and did a bit of shading with black and attached that to the backside of the vellum..then took my white pencil to add some highlights in the 'wine'. I actually think this is the best part of the whole thing, how the 'wine' looks, lol! I won't go into alll the detail of what gave me fits...I just think it was a bad stamping day really where nothing would turn out, haha!
BUT I did get some happy mail Monday! I got this gorgeous RAK from Chris/mudmaven!
How sweet is this??? And the inside is all decorated too with such a sweet note to me! Thanks soo much Chris! This really made my whole week! It still gets to me at times about Freckles, but it is getting better! And getting cards from friends that understand like this, makes it even better! sooo thank you Chris!
I have had a kitty trying to be my friend lately, lol. I think somebody has just dropped him off...I kept noticing a cat running up under our house when we would come home from somewhere, he's a full grown cat, really healthy looking actually...but I wouldnt let DH block it off because I was afraid it was a mama kitty at the time and might have had kittens under there. Well the other day I finally succeeded in getting him to come to me. I can say HIM now because I checked, lol! He is super friendly, loves to be petted, he is a bit skiddish still, but wont leave me alone if I am out in the yard by myself, but DH comes out and he runs off, lol. Here is a pic I was able to get of him...it was a job too, he kept rubbing up on the camera about the same time I'd go to snap the picture and all i would have would be a black blur, lol.
He finally calmed down and sat down for me to get this one. I do believe he belonged to somebody because the area around his neck looks like he used to have a collar one, you know, how the hair gets kinda rubbed down looking? Like that. So I wanted to get a picture and show it around and maybe find its owner. Anyways, he's not going hungry, lol.
Ok thats all for today! I got a bunch of swaps I want to share, and hope to get those uploaded over the next couple of days! Hope you are having a wonderfully creative week!

Woodgrain technique
Oh my, two posts in one day? Go me! LOL! I made this for the technique challenge this week on StampTV...and let me tell ya, I had fits with it! The way it was shown to do, I really didnt have a good brown ink to use really, and then I didnt want to mess up my white ink pad, lol. AND I wanted my wood shiney, like the wood floors look in gyms. So I did mine a bit different. First, here is a close up of the shiny-ness:
I am showing this first, because you can't see it in the full picture, no matter how hard I tried (10 times, lol) to get a picture with it showing how shiny it was! And here is the whole card:
How I did mine, I took a piece of glossy cardstock, made my score lines, then brayered over the entire piece with SU!'s more mustard ink for the base color. I then added the browns, which in my case I used creamy caramel and close to cocoa, swiping the ink pad in same direction as I brayered over it. I then wanted my wood 'planks' more distinct so I took a black sharpie marker and went over the scored lines and added the 'nails'. I really like how this card looks IRL. It truly is one of those that look so much better in person! I really like my shiny floor look here, lol! Anyways, that's how I did mine! Hope you enjoyed! Off to create some more while the juices be flowing, lol!

MORE pink! LOL!
And red and black and white, lol! I made this for 2 challenges, the color challenge at StampTV and for Sharon's stamp Simply Challenge #78, to use white mats on our images. I have also been practicing with the brayer on this card and liked how it turned out this time, lol! Here is my card:
I really like this with the white matting! I was in the process of making this card and saw Sharon's challenge posted on Friday and decided to try with the white and thought, oh good! LOL! Looked much better with the white than the black and red I had tried with it.
And I saying So sorry for not posting for a few days...I've just been kinda having...issues I'll say, lol. ANYways, hope you are having a wonderful relaxing Sunday! Thanks for stopping by!

You got Mail!
I made this card for today's color challenge at SCS, rose red, alway artichoke, and black. Very pretty colors together I think! Here is my card:
My green in this photo, well when I am looking at it, it matches the always artichoke, but after taking the pictures, its off! LOL! I hate that when that happens, that the picture isnt a 'true' color! But anyways, had fun coloring this one. I gave the wood an aged look, because as I as coloring, I kinda got some of the black on it and thought I'd just age it to cover it up, lol. Can you see the little paths I tried to create going up to the mailboxes? and the cobweb in one of them? If it wasnt for bills that's the way my mailbox would be, full of cobwebs, haha! Even though emails are nice and convenient, it's still fun to get something in the snail mail. I need to do better myself in mailing off stuff! Ok, that's all for tonight! Thanks for stopping by tonight and hope you are having a wonderfully creative week!
--CAT
p.s. I will upload my first scrapbook page tomorrow...I keep putting if off cause I am not real thrilled with it, lol!
p.p.s. And what is up with some folks showing only part of their cards?? And never the whole thing...that just bugs me...I want to see the WHOLE card, lol! hope this isnt a trend starting ....

What's black and white and read all over?
Welll, probably NOT my blog! But black and white and RED, this card is for sure, lol! Bold and bright!
I made this card using the sketch challenge at StampTV last week. Fun one to work, cause it has so many possibilities! I used the Bold Flowers from the StampTV set from Gina K Designs. I really like these flowers in this set, but want the punches that match them because I really did NOT like cutting them out! LOL! But I like this card, loud and bold like me, haha!! I love to color images, one of my favorite things to do, but sometimes to make a quick card with solid stamps is a nice break.
Today, I have just kinda sat around coloring images. AND I made my very first scrapbook page! It's ok, but ...I dont know, I'll post it tomorrow and show ya, it just seems like it was lacking something lol! I think that comes from me always adding all them little details to my cards and it was really hard to do that on a scrapbook page to me.
Well, that's it for today! Hope you have a wonderfully creative week!

Pink and more pink...and a winner!
I have been on a sorta pink kick lately havent I? More pink cards than anything, lol! I made this card for several challenges over at StampTV.com. Color challenge, to use pink and any neutrals (hope barely banana counts as a neutral, lol) the potluck challenge and the technique challenge which were both to use colored pencils with OMS, AND the Color Throwdown Challenge which is pretty in pink, barely banana, and regal rose. Whew! I call it cheating when I combine a bunch of challenges like that, lol! Here's my card:
I was attempting a 'glow' around the flowers, but failed I do believe, lol! And I brushed on this shimmer stuff that I have, a golden color but you can't really tell that in the picture, it's on the outer edges of the image. Anyways, I like how the colored flowers turned out so didn't ditch this card, just worked it on out, lol! I think I'm in the mood for some bright colors today though...hmmmm gonna go see what I can come up with! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderful relaxing Sunday!

Ugly card time and a beautiful RAK!
Howdy all! Welcome to this episode of 'How to make an ugly card!' Just CASE me and your done, haha! At least the two cards I made yesterday are to me...bleh...but, I said a long time ago, gonna post even the ugly ones, lol! Soooo here they are:
This is my attempt at a monochromatic card that I always struggle with. I used SU!'s river rock cardstock and some paper and ribbon I snatched from my sister. I also kinda sorta followed Taylor's sketch challenge found HERE, but not gonna upload it though, lol. I loved the sketch, just not my card!
Card Details:
Stamps: Clear Expressions by Hampton Art
Papers: SU! cardstock and DP (I dont remember the name of it, will have to ask Kelli
Accessories: brads, ribbon, scallop corner punch, spiral paperclip, paper piercer tool and pad, pop dots.
This card I made for my SIL's birthday. I also snatched this stamp from my sister Kelli, lol. Hey, she got lots of my stuff too!! ROFL! This card, well, it's not so bad, just the picture doesnt do it justice, you cant see the sparkly I added to the water and it just looks bad here in the pic, the water does to me.
Card Details:
Stamps: Hero Arts and sentiment from Seeing D's
Papers: SU! cardstock
Accessories: prisma pencils and OMS, postage stamp edge punch from EK, paper piercer and pad, ribbon
I dont know why I was having such a hard time taking pictures of all of these cards today, but even this card I got in the mail, it's actually gorgeous but my picture taking just can't capture it good enough!! Here it is:
My beautiful friend Donna sent me this, it is sooo gorgeous! The colors are so rich and warm and the layering of the little flower...well, it just rocks! She sent me this, giving me a hug for what I was going through with Freckles...she understands and I cannot tell you how much this card meant to me and it came on a day that I was having a hard time with it again! Thank you so much Donna, I will treasure this always! I just wish I could have got a better picture of it, for some reason, it just wouldnt capture how you did the words in all different colors to match, it would just look like blank white space, lol! And boy, I need to get out the lint roller on my black drop piece there...haha!!
Ok, thats it for now! I hope you all are having a wonderful relaxing weekend. I plan on doing nothing myself but make a card or two! Catch up on some challenges...me and my challenge addict self...lol.

Me and my sisters stamp fest.
Well, more like HER stamp fest than mine! LOL! She made 7 cards compared to my 2 that I completed, lol! She would say, what to do and I'd suggest something, told her I inspired her I guess! LOL! First, have to show you what she did...Besides giving her a coloring lesson (which now she HAS to have the prisma pencils and OMS and the CS I used, lol!) I also showed her how you can take a piece of plastic canvas, cut it down to use as a template for paper piercing. She didnt have a piercing pad, but I said, well, do you have a piece of fun foam or something like that? I use two of them together ....she goes, "oh yea, I have some of that" And this is what she brings me back to use:
See the little heart shape? That's it, her piece of fun foam she brought me, rofl. I swear she is blonde and adopted....hahaha! (she gonna kill me....lmao)
This is Kelli coloring, she coloring so fast the stump a blur, lol:
I think I was able to give her a few tips on coloring. To me, it just takes practice and have the right tools helps too! Here is my favorite card of hers that she did:
I love the velvet ribbon she added on this, really adds to the look of it to me! All supplies on this card of hers are from Gina k Designs.
Now, here are our twinkie cards I call them, lol!
First one we used a SU! set and punches, I dont know the name of this set, it was hers:
And then these, I think this set is from Verve stamps, it was hers too:
Can you guess which cards are hers and which are mine? LOL! She says its obvious! Soooo, we gonna play a game! First person to guess correctly I'll send you a special something I make and maybe even an extra stamp from Unity I have in my stash!
I so enjoyed getting out of the house this weekend! It did me ALOT of good. Still sad of course, but dealing with it alot better! Lots of good memories now that I will always cherish with my doggy, my buddy.
Ok, think thats it for today, unless I find something else I havent posted, lol!
