I used the solid image of the hummingbird for this card, but the set does come with one you can color too! Cant wait to do that! I also stamped one of the flower images onto vellum and colored it with pencils, flipped it over and attached it to some kraft cardstock to get this look..I do belive I like how this turned out! lol! Up next is the new Card Kit, called, Seeds of Kindness which Jessica will have more on her blog about! Here is my creation with this set:
I dont know what kind of flowers these are for sure, but they reminded me of African violets so that is how I tried to color them, lol! Did a bit of distressing on this card with some distress inks (which Gina carries now, woooohoo!!)

ReplyDeleteOoh, that first card has such sweet, feminine feel to it--nice and serene, too. I think those are African Violets! I colored mine red and then thought, "Oh no, I think these are Violets!" Well, lo and behold, after doing some research, African Violets come in many colors, including red! Phew! ;)
