Hey ya'll!! Welcome back to our 2nd day of inspiration, using the new stamps for this month! I hope you and your families had a wonderful Easter weekend, and enjoyed some good times and made some wonderful memories...I sure did with my grandson...4 yrs old, perfect age for hunting those eggs, lol!
Up first today we have *Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called Branching Out...this set will work with you basic nestabilities, square, oval and round, FUN!! here is what I have done for today:
I used the square shape....and look at me again, using designer paper! Get out! I'm on a roll arent I?!! LOL! I love stamps that help you put together a card really quickly, and look like you worked a long time on it, THIS is a set like that, LOVE it! That sentiment is from our next set too...
Which is by *Theresa Momber and called Follow Your Dreams. Theresa is such an awesome illustrator at nature scenes to me! Here is what I did with it for today:
I used my beloved distress inks, smeared them on my non stick craft sheet and spritz with water, then laid the piece of cardstock in it and got the colors in the background...I colored the dragonfly and then spritz him with some shimmerz, to make his wings look iridescent, it looks really pretty IRL! :D
Ok, ready for more awesome eye candy? Dont forget too, to leave comments on each blog, because Gina will be giving away more stamp sets, randomly chosen for all comments on everyone's blog! Here is the link list:
