For my creation to show you today, I used the set that has the wheat imagine in it. Here is what I did:
I created a background using the wheat image, and used the matching Honey Mustard ink to stamp it with. The wheat image was stamped with versamark ink onto the new Designer Paper pack from Gina K and then i used white embossing powder on it. I purposely tried to burn it, to give it a rustic look, lol! If you ever do this, be VERY cautious! LOL! I did a bit of distressing to give it a rustic look...super easy card!

ReplyDeleteWow, really love that card! Check out all that texture! However, Cat, I think I'll pass on purposefully "burning" my embossing, I don't see good things happening for me, with that! LOL But, the Distressing with inks, I can DO that just fine, and no injuries involved! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe wheat design is lovely and very fall. Never thought I could used a burned image and have it look so realistic.,
ReplyDeleteLove this look with the layering. Great card.
ReplyDeleteLove the fringe mat behind your image and kudos on not burning the embossing! I've destroyed more than one creation by burning my ribbon edges. Word to the wise, do NOT try to seal seam binding with an aim-n-flame. Disastrous!
