Hey y'all! I am so thrilled to be a part of this HUGE blog hop this year! You are in for a treat that's for sure! AND every single participant has blog candy!! woohooo!! This is just our way, us in the stamping community, to give back to all of YOU for supporting each other. By the blog visits, comments and such. I know it means the world to me to get a comment on a blog post and wish I could write to each one and tell them how much i appreciate and how much it means to me.
Stamping is my lifesave, my therapy! I use stamping to keep my hands and brain occupied! And then to be able to share it with others is so wonderful. I lost my Mom about 14 years ago and we shared in all of the crafty things. After she died, it took me awhile to pick anything crafty up again. But when I did, it was stamping and from then on, I was/am hooked! LOL! So it truly has been a blessing to me and I know my Mom smiles down on my creation (and whispers in my ear when its an ugly! ha!) I threw this together for the hop today. I went out and bought a cheap ($1) pocket planner
and then spruced it up for myself! :D I also do alot of these for friends in the month of January and they seem to love them. AND as an extra bonus, if the winner would like me to make them one with their initials, I will! :D
Here is a close up:
I used Ranger's foil tape and black acrylic paint and also some inka gold rub paste. I used some tools from Ten Seconds Studio and chipboard pieces under the foil to give it this design. This is really and quick and easy thing to make! And I so enjoy doing them too, soooo, will make more for sure! Ok,ready to get to hopping? Just one thing before you go...you MUST make a comment on my blog to be entered into my prize drawing!! I have a $25.00 Gift Certificate to Gina K Designs for my blog candy! I will pick the winner on January 8th, and winner will be announced around 8PM that night! I will contact Gina K Designs and have them mail the certificate to you, so you will have to share your email with me! :D
Below is a the link list for this hop! I know its HUGE, BUT...you dont have to do it all in one day! And it will so be worth it to hop and comment for a chance to win some awesome prizes! Ive seen some of them, and Im hoping I might get lucky too! haha!
Again, thanks soooo so much for hanging with me through this past year, and for the upcoming year I hope to see you back! :D
Creation Details:
Stamps: Doodle Flowers from Gina K Designs
Papers: Gina K cardstocks and Ranger Metal Tape sheet
Accessories: black acrylic paint, various metal working tools from Ten Seconds Studios, various chipboard pieces and letters, Spectrum Noir markers, scor-tape.

ReplyDeleteHi Cat! You honor your mom every time you craft and think of her. My mom taught me to sew when I was 10 and it's something I use often, whether I'm repairing or creating. It's been nice to repair during our economic depression over the last 6? years in the USA. I tried to get my mom and neice hooked on papercrafts, but it just didn't take hold. My daughter and I love to do papercrafts together, whether it's Christmas Cards, gift tags, treat tags, treat boxes, etc. My daughter in law doesn't craft, but I've got her hooked on sugar cookies with royal frosting for Christmas, we didn't get to do it this year because she's expecting soon, but we tried to schedule it. Happy New Year! Thanks Paulette S., craftqueen417 at yahoo dot com or paulettesprettypapercrafts dot wordpress dot com
