Hey Y'all!! So Glad to see you this month! :D
The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new Painted Autumn StampTV Kit! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring one of the stamp sets from the kit.
Today’s set, we are featuring Painted Autumn. In this set, you will find beautiful floral and leaf images where you will be able to create the 3 or 4-step stamping technique! You can create one floral image or an entire bouquet of gorgeous autumn flowers. This set will be great to use all year long!
Ok, first today I have this card using the Painted Autumn set in the kit (yes, set has the same name as the kit, in case I was confusing you there, lol!)
\
I totally LOVE this sentiment...what it says and the font and just everything, lol! I took the flower image, the solid one in the kit, and stamped in white ink, then did the outline stamp in black...LOVE how it turned out! I struggle with two-step and threee-step stamping so much! BUT, Gina shows how to do it perfectly! Here is a link to one of her examples she shows:Two step stamping made easy by Gina!
And here is another with this set:
And again, I just colored these flowers, lol! I heat embossed them in white, then used watercolor to color them with. The lattice is all shiny with Deco foil that Gina carries too. I used a toner sheet of paper to cut it out with then ran it through my minc machine. The butterfly is also done like that and then has an overlay of vellum. I splattered using acrylic paint also. (scroll on down to see my mess card!)
OK, ready for awesomeness? Just follow these links below!
And Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate!! Just ckeck the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.
Don’t forget to pop over to the Gina K Designs Store and check out all of the new products available this month in the “What’s New” section at http://www.ginakdesigns.com.
I posted a little snippet of this card on FaceBook yesterday. I threw it into the trash, then decided I didnt have enough with the floral images, so dug it out and tried to make it work. I think it's like, OK...what ya think?
I accidentally dropped some black paint on it. I used the set Tiny Textures too on this too! I already had the flower and was going to put the sentiment where the checkered bow is but that is where the paint plopped down on! LOL! So I used a die to cut that part out, then added more splatters. And this is it! :D
Thank you sooo very much for stopping by! YOU are my inspiration! :D
Cat
