Up first today for you I have Beth's new set, Ian Moose! He is definitely one of the cutest mooses (Meese?) out there! Here are a couple of cards I made with this set:
I used some water color pencils to make the background. I had first stamped the tree, then masked it to do the water coloring. I then doodled lines around my square shape of watercoloring. Ian is fussy cut and popped up there on the corner! The ornaments hanging from the sentiment were stamped then filled in with those tonic Nuvo crystal drops. And since I already had these supplies out, I also made another similiar style to this one:
Basically same thing, just added some extra sparkle by using Spectrum Sparkle Markers.
Next are Claire's sets...
First I did this one...was going for a 'crazy quilt' look! :D
I used Claire's Noel set. The 'stitches are made using the ribbon die template. I like how they turned out! :D
This set uses a bunch of the new sets, but the main image creating a frame of the snowy scene is from Claire's Festive Foliage set. It is stamped onto acetate with stayzon ink then heat embossed...I love the effect this gives this card, like you are peeping out a window and spy that deer! :D Also used on this card was Theresa's set, Dashing, and Christmas Greenery by Gina. I used some white acrylic paint, and green too on the trees. And the rest is done with inks and my fingers, lol!
