Up first is a card using Melanie's set, Holiday Frame Fillers. Here is my creation:
Easter in December! LOL! It took a bit to shift out of Christmas card making mode, but this set made it so much fun! I basically paper pieced those little eggs with some old DP I had laying around. I created the 'H A P P Y' by stamping and snipping the letters apart. I usually stamp more than once, because after cutting out one letter, one side for the other letter may not be big enough. :D
Next up is Theresa Momber's new set, Framescape. I can only imagine all of the gorgeous cards Theresa will create with this set and video tape. For my creation today, I created a Blizzard! :D
I watercolored the sky, then after stamping everying in black, I used a white gel pen and added 'snow' to the trees...and used a splatter brush to make my 'blizzard'! The snowflakes are from a die. There is some sparkle added with some Nuvo glitter paste that I sorta swooshed with my finger onto the sky and ground and just here and there. The tree branches on the left and the man are both stamped onto acetate to create a clear overlay. the snow on the limbs was created using Tulip slick puffy paint. See the little red bird? LOL! he is from a die also.
