Celebrating!

Hey ya'll!! Yes, I'm celebrating for the next two days...today is Mine and my hubby's, Billy, 30th anniversary! It took some work to get to that point, but we did and as corny as it sounds, are more in love now than we have ever been! Honestly! AND then tomorrow is my birthday! :D yea, I'm 39 and holding, haha! Have been for a few years now...soooo, here is a card I made with that theme in mind, celebrating life and everything good in it!



I used some new washi tape I got from Cute Tape. I am loving the washi tape and plan on ordering more of this! Lot's of fun and such fun designs and colors. Glad I broke down and bought some! And no, I'm not being paid to say that, haha! Just passing on a fun and good product! :D

Hope you are having a wonderfully relaxing weekend, and creative too! It's up into the 70's today in my part of the world...yesterday the wind chill was right at freezing! It's confusing the birds! LOL!

Goooood Sunday morning to ya'll!

Hey ya'll! I decided I better update before I loose any followers, LOL! I am determined to reach 300 (at least) and then I want to have a BIG giveaway...Im already buying and stashing stuff for it too! :D So, spread the word around if you have time, not like a requirement or anything, lol!

I got a card that is another pub call reject...this was for a shaped card pertaining to Summer, and here is my card:




I made the sun 'rays' by using a small heart punch and then glued them down on a circle, then attached the front circles...also attached a back circle by scoring the very top edge of that back one before attaching so it will open. Super quick card really, but the mag no likey!...Oh well, maybe another day! :D

I hope you are having a wonderfully creative week! Boy, this month sure is flying past...it's gonna be my birthday (the 23rd0 before I know it! Oh, wait, I quit acknowledging birthdays at age 50....so I'm 50 again this year! ha! :P Take that father time!

Gina K Designs December Release Inspiration Hop, Day 3!!!!

Hey ya'll!! Welcome back to our last day of some inspiration, hopefully, lol! for you! For today's hop we have the brand spanking new StampTV kit called True Love !! Yep, just in time for all of your Valentine's Day creation! Besides the HUGE stamp set, the True Love Stamp TV Kit contains 24 sheets of Pure Luxury card stock, ribbon, brads and exclusive patterned paper too!! Here is what I have done for today:



I showed this card at the Release party too. I think this looks so girly and valentine-y!! Unusual for ME to make something this girly, lol! Pink is hard for me to use, unless its a sorta pale pink and I put black or brown with it, lol!

I also made this:



This is one of those hard acrylic drink cups that has a place for an insert that you can decorate. I made this for my daughter for Valentine's Day...but I forgot to put it up and she snatched it yesterday when she came down, LOL! I just stamped on some paper (used the back side of some dp that was this krafty color) and stamped the hearts and sentiment randomly all over, colored with copics and a white gel pen and rolled it and stuck it in the glass! Super easy and quick and IF she hadn't of snatched it, I was gonna fill it with yummy goodies too! :D

Gina K Designs December Release Inspiration Hop, Day 2!!

Hey ya'll!! I hope you all have had a very Happy New Year so far! If not, it's still early, give it time, lol! Welcome to our 2nd day of Inspirational hops for you for Gina K Designs!! We have two stamps sets to share some inspiration with you for today...Up first is Tami Mayberry's newest set called Special Occasion Tags. This set will match Spellbinders Ribbon tag trio 2 and 3...although, I stuck Ribbon tags 1 with mine since I dont have those YET..they will be here in a few days though, lol! This is what I did for today:



I am getting an early jump on some graduation cards! I made these two super quick, same layout too, basically. I have several nephews and nieces and great nephews graduating this year, so getting ready! And this set makes it super easy, love that! I created a little pocket inside to insert some money too. I will show that another day though. :D Up next we have the new 'One Free with Three set called You've Got Style...here is what I have done with this set today:



I tried to make the card look like runway lights on the dress, to make it go along with the fun saying, lol! I think this makes a fun kinda encouragement card for a friend!
