Today we are showcasing the brand spanking new StampTV kit...and ooooh my goodness!! You are gonna LOVE it! Ive been on a box kick for some reason lately...and today is showing the same...but wait! One of the boxes has SIX cards in it! Here it is:

It's a little drawer box that will hold six cards...and probably a couple of more if you make the cards flatter than I did. This was also a tutorial over on SCS, called a Drawer Box (I checked this time to maker sure I was saying the right name!) I also made matching envelopes for my cards. You can see them behind there a bit. Here is the box with it slid open:

I LOVE this little drawer! Wouldnt it make a fantastic gift to someone too? Here are a few of the cards I made too:

Can you tell I am totally loving this kit? It is such a fantastic bargain too! You get sooo much in the kit!

Alrighty then...here is my MAJOR project I did...I designed this little mini album...Im not much of a scrapbook-er, but I have all of these old photos and I wanted to try to use them some way...and this is what I came up with( I will have a pictorial next week up on how to make the signatures for this album for you too!)

This is the album cover. Not much stamping from the kit on this, the sentiment only...this is my thankful for my family album, is what I call it. Each member of my family has a signature in it. Each page is made the same...with a tags and such...I will show each of the pages without alot of my yakking, lol!

Here is the front of one of the pages:

Here is how the page looks opened:

The back side of the page:

My Dad's page:

My Mom's page:

My oldest brother Joe's page:

My next to oldest brother Steve's page:

My little sister Kelli's page: (she said she gonna kill me for using this picture of her! LOL)

AND last, but not least by a long shot...MY page, haha!

Im not the baby, Kelli is, but wasnt gonna show mine, but then decided it wouldnt be complete if I didnt, lol!

The album has so much going on...it has acetate pages that I stamped on and used Spellbinders dies on it too. Each signature has glassine envelope that has been made into a pocket to store pictures in it...like this:

I hope I havent bored you too much with all of my photos!! I wanted to show how you can used the stamps, not just for Fall stuffs, but so many other ways! I really love this little album..and my sister has already laid claim to it, LOL!

ok, ready for more totally awesome eye candy? just follow these links!!

Thanks soo much for stopping by and letting me share my love of all things Gina K Designs! I hope you will come back too for more inspiration...and for the tutorial on the mini album! If you have any questions though, always feel free to email me! Link is up there on the left hand side! :D

Gina K Design Inspiration Hop, day 1!!

Hey y'all!! Welcome to day one of our Inspiration Hop for this month. This time, its not only a new StampTV kit, but also a fun Halloween set and the new Incentive stamps! That is what we are showcasing for you today!

For my creation to show you today, I used the set that has the wheat imagine in it. Here is what I did:

I created a background using the wheat image, and used the matching Honey Mustard ink to stamp it with. The wheat image was stamped with versamark ink onto the new Designer Paper pack from Gina K and then i used white embossing powder on it. I purposely tried to burn it, to give it a rustic look, lol! If you ever do this, be VERY cautious! LOL! I did a bit of distressing to give it a rustic look...super easy card!

Ok, ready for more eye candy? Here ya go!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And come on back tomorrow for more eye candy for you! Cant wait to share my projects!! :D If you ever have any questions, always feel free to shoot me an email! :D

Perfectly matching flowers! Heres' how!

Hey y'all! Well, it feels good to be home! I had a bit of stomach troubles and was in the hospital for about a week, yuk! Glad we have them, but sure hate having to be in one! Im getting better now, feeling better each day soooo was playing around with some stuff and thought I'd share!

We all like our stuff to be matchy matchy, right? I know I do! And since Gina K has come out with her own line of inks now, it makes it even easier to have matching stuffs! Apart from what Gina K already offers ...ribbon, cardstock, buttons, papers, inks...You can use your reinkers for some many things! Here is a little pictorial of how I dyed some prima papers flowers to match Gina K cardstocks that I am using for a project. (I'm sure this is old school to most, but just sharing how I do it, lol!)

The Honey Mustard colored flower is one I have already done. First, put a drop or two of ink from your reinker onto nonstick craft sheet...this is Fresh Asparagus in this one.

Next, add some water. The more the water, the lighter the color of the flower. Also, once it dries completely, it will be lighter too, so that is something to keep in mind. The less water, the more intense the color, so its your choice!

After adding water, just stir around with your paintbrush and begin painting the flower. They are paper, so remember to treat gently! :D

And here is all of my flowers after painting with the inks! They are still wet here too. Another thing you can do, which I did on the red one, is go back with just straight reinker and touch the tips with your paintbrush that has been dipped into the straight ink. It gives it a bit more depth I think.

And lastly, I like spritzing mine with glammer mists! I love the sparkle it gives it plus kinda antiques it. Just spritz while laying on the craft sheet...the flowers can be wet or dry for this step.

Ta-Da!! All done! Well, they do need to dry. If I use a heat gun to dry mine, I will fluff up the petals as dry, makes the flowers more 'perky'. I usually dry with the heat gun, then I will let dry overnight so they will stick better onto whatevery I am using them for (which you can see next week during one of our Gina K hops! ;D)

Thanks for stopping by and letting my share my way of dying paper flowers! Hope yo uenjoyed!
