Hey y'all!! I thought I'd hop onto the ole blog and tell you about a free stamp you can get from Gina K Designs!
I LOVE this saying, and can't wait until I get my stamp!
Ok, now the mini album. I have shown bits and pieces of this little 3x3 album I made, but thought I would share it page by page here on my blog. First, here is the matching box I made for the album:
Here is the front:
I used lots of different stamp sets, all from Gina K Designs. I am just gonna show the pictures, and if anyone has any questions, just email me! The email tab is up there! *points to the left hand side of blog* LOL!
Ok, here we goooooo!
It took me about a week working on and off on this. I used acetate, and vellum as a few of the pages, I really like what this added to the album. I have some journaling tags here and there that pull out...if and when I give this to someone, I will personalize it a bit on those. I used Graphic 45's French Country designer papers and stickers and chipboard pieces all through the album too. These are just soo fun to make...and look great sitting out as a little pretty for all to look at. My sister and daughter AND niece have all tried to swipe this one and one other I have made before this, lol!
Ok, thats all for today (as if not enough, lol!) Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to take advantage of that free stamp!!

Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Hop -- Day 4!!
Hey y'all!! Welcome back to our 4th and final day for this month's release hops!
The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.
Up first today is the new 'One Free with Three' stamp set, A Little Something. Here is what I have done for today with this set:
And here is the coaster/paperweight that is inside:
I LOVe making coasters/paper weights to give as gifts! And I found these bisque coasters at Michaels I believe it was and decided to color them up and then make a box to match. The mini pizza box fit these little coasters/paperweights just perfect! for my coasters, I used stayz on ink, but you have to stay away from the blank ink when coloring with copics or it will smear. And without thinking, I put a coat of varnish on with a brush, instead of using a spray one, and THAT make it streak a tad. Soo, my advice would be to use the spray on sealer! :D
Next up is the ever so fun mini Darling Diva sets by Debbi Corbari all from Gina K Designs. Here is my first card I made using the Mr. & Mrs. Diva set:
I went with the customary black/white with red for my bride and groom! :D I'm old fashioned like that...and yea, I cry at weddings...dont even have to know the people, I still will cry, LOL!
Here is another card I made using the Rainy Day Diva:
I did some paper piecing on her umbrella and the clouds...colored her up with copic markers Stuck a bit of bling here and there and was done! :D
Ok, ready for more eye candy? Here ya go:
Thanks so much for hanging out with me this week and hopping around for our blog hops! I hope that you commented to get your name entered into the drawings! I here those prize packages are pretty awesome!!
Thanks again for the sweet comments! They truly inspire me and make my day! Have a wonderfully creative week! I got a little mini album I want to show you either Friday or Saturday. LOTS of pics!

Up first today is Beth Silaika's newest set called Weather Or Not. Super fun images and sentiments in this set! Here is what I have done for today with this set:
I was gonna just have an all black/white card and then had lightbulb moment to add the sun peeking out in color! I also used a glitter pen, but you cant really see it in this pic! Here is one with this set too, with the clouds 'silver lining' :D
I used the same pen on this, to give it that shimmer. The clouds are paper pieced on this one....LOVE how this turned out! :D
Ok, up next is Theresa Momber's newest set called By The Sea. And true to Theresa's style, these images are sooo very realistic! Here is what I have for today:
I would so love to be sitting on that dock to see that moon! :D I colored this using oil crayons and my finger as a paint brush, lol! Here is another card I did using this set too:
I was going for a little tranquil scene on the beach....it turned out ok, should have added some water though, lol!
Ok, ready for more eye candy? Here ya go:

Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Hop -- Day 2!!
Hey y'all!! Welcome to day 2 of our Inspiration Hops for you for May Release!

Up first for you today is Tami Mayberry's newest set called Simple Flowers. I also combined it with Carolyn King's new set, Stamp It Big! 2. Here is my card for today:
This was super quick to make, and I love those! :D That button with the crochet, I got that at Michael's and got lucky that it matched the Gina K Ocean Mist so good! Carolyn's set will just work with so many things too! Here is another card I made using Carolyn's set, Stamp It Big! 2:
I paper pieced the house on this one, the papers I used had that bottom border and the birdie already on it. I just cut so it would work for my card...and I punched out a scallop edge to attach where the stamp has a scallop edge. It was much easier to do that than try to cut it out with having done the paper piecing. I love the whimsical feel of this one! :D

Gina K Designs May Release Inspiration Hop -- Day 1!!
Hey y'all!! Welcome to our first day of blog hops for this release!
We have two stamps sets to showcase for you today. First up is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called, Pretty Patterns 2...and oh my! the possibilities with this set are endless!! Here is what I have for you today:
I used the chevron pattern and stamped then cut 1/2" strips and did this off-setting pattern...(there is a name for it and my cold infected brain cannot remember at the moment! LOL) I was needing a masculine card for a friend, thus no ribbon and the gears! I also used Carolyn King's newest set , Stamp it Big 2, the Hello, for the sentiment. We will be showcasing her set later in the week!
Next up is Becky Oehlers' newest set called Bold Blooms... And this is another set that has all kinds of possibilities!! Here is one I have for today:
For this card, I was playing around with ink sprays. I stamped the big flower in white and also embossed it with white embossing powders. Then I spritzed some sprays onto a craft sheet and dipped my stamped image into all the inks. It sparkles really nice IRL! I then made the background by using images from the same set, and I doodled the black lines on.
Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy? Here are the links to my fellow DT...I'm sure you will not be disappointed!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to come on back tomorrow! We will have 2 more stamps to inspire you with!

Gina K Design Inks...what else can I do with them?
Hey y'all!! Just a quick picture tutorial of how I dye some seam binding ribbon with my Gina K Designs Color Companion Inks. Super easy and oh how I love things all matchy matchy! :D
--First, gather what you will need. I used the Ocean Mist Reinker (sold out at the moment! but will be back in stock soon!), Hug Snug Seam binding ribbon in Eggshell (about a yard and a half is how much I do at a time), water to spritz, non stick craft sheet, and rubber glove if you dont like getting your hands all inky! :D and small zip lock baggy...I reused one that some ribbon came in form Gina K.
--Drip some drops of your reinker onto the craft sheet:
--Spritz generously with water:
--Take ribbon and drop it into the ink and water, smooshing the ribbon and just wallowing it all in it. It doesnt have to be perfect, that is the beauty of this to me! :D
--Keep going, and you can add more ink or spritz with water again if you like. Depends on your taste! I did spritz mine with water more here.
--Wad the wet ribbon up and put into a baggy that you can seal, and I also spritz some more water and dropped a couple more ink drops in the baggy. I then squished it to get the air and then sealed it up.
Now, the waiting part, lol! I actually walked off and just forgot about mine. I like to do them and leave them in a baggy over night. The next morning I take them out and if the day is pretty, I lay them outside on my porch with a small rock anchoring them to dry. I have also dried it with a heat tool...but you have to be careful, cause it will burn!
Here is the finished ribbon I did:
Isn't it gorgeous!!?? I like mine all uneven like this for more of the 'aged' look. To get it more even, you would need to add more ink drops into the bag and be sure and squish it around really good. But, it still will not dye 'solid'...that is the beauty of hand dying to me! I have hand dyed linen that I use in counted cross stitch and I think it is just gorgeous! I hoard that stuff, LOL!
Ok, that's all for today! Be sure and come back tomorrow too because we will be starting our Gina K Design Inspiration Blog Hops tomorrow! Plus, I'll have a card up with this ribbon on it for one of the days! Sooo, come on back and see! :D
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you are having a wonderful lazy Sunday!
