have created for today’s hop
First up is the new Happy Spring set from the new kit. For my first card, I used the flowers and layered them and then put those over some hand stitching I did:
I really am loving this paper pack too...with the soft pink and gray...just gorgeous together! And my next card, I made a little sunny day scene! Sponged the background with the distress oxide inks (did I mention I love these, lol!) and then colored everything else with prisma premiere pencils:
And another sponged background with those inks (sorry! LOL)
I used the dies to do a cut out and had it peak through there a little bit with the polka dotted designer paper in the pack in the kit. Super easy to make and will be easy to mail!
And last but not least is a card that uses the new incentive:
That big ole flower is so much fun to color. I used the Kuretake water colors and then colored pencils over that after drying. I love how the white pencil especially gives that look it does for highlights.
And also, I'm hosting the challenge this week on StampTV, and this is the card I have for my example:
The name of the challenge is 'What's That You Say?' and for the challenge you are to use a quote, any quote, to inspire your card. For mine, I used the quote, 'Good things come in small packages' and made a mini card of the large one I made! All are welcome to play along! Here is the link to that challenge too: (you have to be a member of StampTV to post and comment! it's free to join! Everything is free! :D)
