Love this new set by Rupa!

I guess anybody can tell I'm a big fan of about all the stamps from GinaK Designs by now, lol. I guess I ought to branch out some!

This old time sewing machine sure brought back memories so had to be the first stamp I inked up from my recent order from GinaK. I can remember my Mom using one just like this, hers even had the foot pedal. I wore many clothes made on a machine like this and one year, I remember getting a 'store bought' easter dress and thought I was something special in it, lol. NOW I so appreciate all my Mom went through to make those easter dresses, and how talented she was on the sewing machine...(which I inherited NONE of her sewing machine talent, first time I tried to use one, sewed my finger! LOL! and never have tried again.)

I was undecided whether to add some little white dots around the scalloped purple edge, what do you think? Anyways, details of the card below.

Details:
Stamps: Many Happy Returns by Rupa from GinaK Designs

Inks: stampabilites black dye ink.

I made this card for the sketch challenge at SCS. It looks much better in person, here it looks red and its actually a deep pink. I took the picture at this weird angle trying to get the score lines and embossing to show, finally got it after like 10 tries, haha! This card was a quicky too, love those!

Details:
Cardstock: All from Michael's
Stamp: 'thanks' from Rupa's King of the Grill set by GinaK Designs
Accessories: CB embossing folder, scor-pal (yay finally got one!), brads from Michaels, ribbon I received in a swap.

Made this card THINKing I would enter Melanie's contest for a guest designer, but I dont feel like I am in the league of sooo many out there, no wheres near it, lol. I get frustrated because I dont really have any good cardstock, inks, or DP's, and until I get that stuff, then not gonna enter things like that. My sister is now officially a Stampin Up! demonstrator, and she will be getting her kit soon (which I went in halfs with her because she already has sooo much stuff already) and THEN I can order some good cardstock, inks and such. CANT WAIT!! Anyways....so gonna be showing the 3 cards I had done for the above stated over the next few days!

Details:
Cardstock: white card stock is GP from Wal-mart, all other cardstock from Michael's
Stamps: Just so Hoppy by Melanie Muenchinger from GinaK Designs.
Accessories: Button brads from GinaK Designs, colored with copic markers, rectangle nesties, ribbon from Michael's.
