Illustrators Blog Hop, A color challenge!

Here I am again today! Posting another card for the hop, cause I messed up and didnt realize it was a color challenge, lol! BUT, worked out good for me, I have two cards with Melanie's newest set that I really like! Our color challenge was to use two of the newest spring colors from Gina K, I used Ocean Mist and Innocent Pink..also my beloved kraft too! Here is my card:




I just did a bit of off stamping for the daisy in the Pressed Flowers set and then stamped the Thank You from the new Inside Out stamp set over them, quick CAS card! Love how it turned out!

Quick CAS Thank You card!

Hey all! I had made this card for the blog hop later tonight, BUT, I messed up...so I am posting this card now, lol! I'll explain later how I messed up! This also fits with the Olympics of Stamping Challenge over at Moxie Fab World!!

I used Melanie's newest set, Pressed flowers...Here it is:




I stamped the images with versamark in then used a Q-tip and chalks, what fun that is! I really love how this turned out too!

Tuesday Trigger...

Welll, 2 posts in one day? Don't faint, lol! But Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World inspired me today and I had time to do another card, so here it is:




This card makes me happy! LOL! Love the lemony colors in that Basic Grey Origins, yummy! I used cardstock from Gina K Designs, the gorgeous Lemon Drop, Kraft and Black Onyx....I cannot get enough of that Kraft! This is a pretty simple card, just the sentiment is the only stamping part, and I am loving the tulle ...especially since I got it on clearance, haha! Lots of different colors of it too, so hope you dont get tired of tulle!

Gina K February Release Preview Day 3!!

Welcome back again to another awesome day of previews! And we have only just begun! (sounds like a song huh? haha!) We have two more new sets tonight to preview for you. Up first is the new stamp set called Spring Florals and this set is the new Card Kit set! More info on that below also! Here is my card for tonight:



I decided to do a bit of Spotlighting for my card, love this quick technique! This card WAS going to be somebody's birthday card, but I decided it wasnt good enough, lol! I always struggle with that though, thinking I could improve my card in SOME way, lol! OH well, guess we all pick our cards apart at times...right? Notice that awesome new color of cardstock? Yep, new one from Gina K!! It's called Lovely Lavender! LOVE it! The other new color is called Lemon Twist and its just as yummy too!

Ok, up next is Asela's newest set called Dream Birds. This is a super FUN and whimsical set and that is what I went with on my card, whimsical! Here it is:



The little clouds, all I did was freehand those and go around the edge with a copic marker in black to simulate a 'stamped' image. The sun is just a circle punch and strips cut. I colored it the way it is on purpose, I thought this gave it more of that whimsical look, you think?
