Happy Birthday to Gina!!

Hey ya'll!! Welcome to a special hop for someone special to lots of us...Gina K!!

I am so thrilled to have found this awesome lady online! My sister introduced me to her online store several years ago and I instantly became stalker...er...fan! And then my dream came true when she asked me to be on her DT! I am still so excited each month about the wonderful stamps and papers and new stuff that Gina comes up with to this day! And one of the reason I think that I am still in love with all things Gina K, is because of the kind of person she is...she's genuine, sincere, and cares so much about others that she sacrifices herself is so many ways. I have yet to meet anyone online like her! Soooo, yea, I'm proud to be part of the Gina K Design family! :D And here is wishing you a most AWEsome birthday Gina! You deserve everything that comes to you!

A Year of Flowers Book Blog Hop

Hey ya'll!! Thank you for hopping along today with the Gina K. Design Team!! If you arrived here from Carolina Buchting's blog, then you're right where you should be. You can always go to StampTV to start from the beginning. The inspiration for today's hop came from Melanie Muenchinger's new book called, A Year of Flowers.

While you can make every design in the book with Melanie’s all occasion A year of Flowers Stamp Set, today’s samples showcase her coordinating florals, which can also be used with the book's tutorials and designs, and provide endless options and more value for your money. We are excited to share cards and projects we created using some of our favorite flower sets designed by Melanie! We love her new book and know you will too - don't miss out on getting your very own copy which you can purchase HERE!

Leave comments along our hop today to enter to win one of Melanie's coordinating floral sets of your choice. The more comments you leave the more chances to win! Melanie will draw a name randomly from one blog and post the winner tomorrow morning. She is also giving away her Crazy Daisy digital patterned paper FREE if you link Gina's video or her post, please see Melanie's blog for details! Good Luck!

For my sample today, I decided to use Melanie's stamp set called Pressed Flowers and it's a little Andy Warhol inspired:

This was a really CAS card for me...it came together pretty quickly! I love that about this Pressed Flowers set, you can use the solid images in so many different ways too! In the book are several different tutorials that could be used for this stamp set also! LOVE it!

Hope you're finding some great inspiration and wonderful designs to get your creativity jump-started! You can find the newest stamp sets and lots of wonderful accessories in Gina's Store. And then join us on StampTV for the challenges and surprises and crafty videos galore!!!

Now your next stop on the hop is the awesome Donna Baker's Blog

Dry Erase Board, Gina K style!

Hey ya'll!! Last week, Gina posted a video of how to make a dry erase board using an acrylic frame...and after seeing it, I just had to make one! Here is a link to the awesome video:

Gina's Dry Erase board Video

And Here is mine I made:

I kinda changed up the design a bit. And I added a ribbon to hold the dry erase marker. I made this for my daughter who will soon be a full fledged teacher! I am so very proud of her! And she just loves anything 'teacher themed'. For the ribbon, I attached it to the back of the design that is inserted into the frame...left it a bit loose so you could easily drop the pen into the ribbon, catching it on the little cap holder thingy. I know my daughter...she has to have the marker attached or she would definitely be loosing them over and over, haha! Just like her Mama! :D I also laminated the book and apple image and attached it to the outside of the frame. I laminated thinking it will hold up better to being handled more!

Ok, that's all for today! We have a fun hop tomorrow for you all, and I hope you will come back then too!

Oh, I am going to be starting a new little thing I am calling 'ATC Tuesdays!' Where I will make an ATC, showing little extra pics of how its made and I will be filling up an ATC holder from Paper Studios. I have always wanted to fill one of those up with my 'artwork'...so come join me next Tuesday for my first one! :D Have a wonderfully creative day!

Gina K Designs January Release Inspiration Hop, Day 3!!

Hey ya'll!! Welcome back to our last day for the January release inspiration hops...NOT the last day of inspiration though, hopefully, lol! For today, we have the new 'One Free With Three' set called Fresh Start ...Here is what I have done today with this set:

I decided to go a little grunge style today. I used some washi tape and some old stamps to create a bit of collage like area on the left side of the card, then used some distress inks on all the edges of the image panel and sentiment and card. Love how this turned out! Love that saying too....don't worry about yesterday...begin fresh each day! :D

Gina K Designs January Release Inspiration Hop, Day 2!!

Hey ya'll!! Welcome back to our second day of inspirational hops for you! And up today again we have two new stamp sets. Up first we have Theresa Momber's newest set called Whimsical Spring ...here is what I have done with this set for today:

As usual, Theresa's nature stamps are just so much fun to stamp with...and color if you want...I made a circle cut out opening in my card and put the decorated circle on the inside. I stamped the butterfly but did not color it...just showing you don't have to be a color'er' to do the butterfly! LOL!

Up next is Tami Mayberry's newest set called Girl Talk...here is mine for today with this set:

I just love the fun sentiments in this set! LOL! And what a fun expression on this girl's face! :D Love it!
