Hey Y'all! Welcome to our first day of our Inspiration Hops! Glad you stopped by!

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

Up first today is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set, Stately Flowers 5..I am just LOVING her State Flowers sets, are you? Here is what I have done for today with it:

I HAD to use the sunflower in the set! Big ole gorgeous thing! And it's my favorite flower too. I stamped this one with versamark onto kraft cardstock and then used clear embossing powder on it. I sponged around the edges of the cardstocks and the dps too, to give it a more rustic feel. Love the saying on this too! :D

Up next is Theresa Momber's newest set called, Vogue Vases 2. This is obviously her 2nd set in the Vogue Vases..and loving this one too! Here is mine for today with this set:

Since I had these colors out on my craft table, I just used them too for this card. I combined the set with Melanie's set, Inspiration Mosaic...I paper pieced some of the areas, and then left some without. I really loving this color scheme too! :D

That's all from me for today, but here is the link list to my fellow DT who I KNOW have some awesome eye candy for you!

Thanks for stopping by today, and dont forget, same time same place tomorrow! :D

To some “giving thanks” is the traditional Thanksgiving holiday, but to others to “give thanks” is to show appreciation to all those great family and friends in our lives. So, our hop this month is to show you how different we all give thanks.

For my card, I went rustic! :D

I used the stamp set Fall Foliage for my card. And
I just love creating my own bg papers...and for this one, I used a brown paper sack, lunch sack. I smeared some distress stain metallics on it, then crumpled it all up, then light touch it with some vintage photo distress ink. I also stamped the leaf onto a paper bag after coloring it with distress markers. And there is some of the wonderful ribbon that I have used for the past three years! :D It's about gone now!

I Love this time of year!

Hey y'all!! It's finally cooled off here in my neck of woods, yay! Tired of those HIGH electric bills and of SWEAT, haha! But Fall/Autumn is my most favorite time of the year....love the colors, the holidays coming up...AND Halloween! I love decorating for Halloween! I decided to make one of those configuration boxes by Tim Holtz...and I can tell ya, it was so much fun to make! Im going to do a Christmas one too! Not only fun putting together, but in gathering the stuff for it too, loved doing that even. Here are some pic of my box:

I used so much stuff on this, lol! First I painted the whole thing, except the cover, in black acrylic paint. I used Echo Park's designer paper line called Haunted all through it, inside and the outside of the cover. I then used some of the Tim Holtz tape on the edges and then slapped on some of his crackle paint in Peeled Paint color. Also distressed the edges with sandpaper and inks. I also used some free images that I found online to make the little trick or treat bags and the bottle cap lids. I used Gina K Design stamps also, Perfect Pennants and Wicked stamp sets. I used some Tim Holtz stamps too, the ticket ones. I made the headstone, RIP one, out of air dry clay and painted it. Lots of miniatures throughout. And even used some STICKERS! (shocked I know!) Miniature bottles and game pieces and mini door knocker were purchased from Sky Blue Pink, what a fun store for stuff like that, and good prices too! Here are some close-ups:

This is a close up of the upper left corner...the little door knocker I think is so neat!

This is one of the skeletons playing the violin. There are 3 total in this, two in the main box and one on top of a smaller piece which you will see in just a second.

This shows all 3 pieces. I will set this up with the two small ones on each side of the bigger box.

Close up of the smaller boxes. The one with the stamped tree silhouette has one of those flickering battery operated lights in it. I cut a hole in the back of this piece so you could turn it off and on and replace if needed.

The hole in the back which you cannot see when its facing front and the little flickering light on.

I had a close up of one of the section, the one I call my tribute to Harry Potter, but for some reason, blogger wont upload it...and I have no clue why! Its even smaller than some of the other pics I have uploaded...same .jpg and everything....who knows..you get what you pay for, lol!

Ok, hope you enjoyed seeing as much as I enjoyed doing this box! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative day!

We have two sets today to showcase for you. Both illustrated by Gina herself. First one up is Primitive Blessings and here is what I have done for today with this set:

I am so loving this set! It reminds me of my cross-stitching days, I was all into the Primitive/Americana stuffs! I have so many I need to get framed! But I did this card trying to capture the overall style of that. Distressed the edges a bit and used rich colors. Here is a 2nd card I made too with the same set:

Again, going with the Primitive/Americana style you see alot of out there. Very quick card, basically just stamped the heifers 2 times so I could cut them out and give them dimension! Wouldn't this make an awesome invite to a dinner for someone?

Ok, next up is a set I can see on ALOT of presents! It's the new One Free with Three called Seasonal Labels :D I decided to make a boxed card set. Here it is:

This is a picture of the cards in the box, and here are the cards:

Well, three of the cards. I made two of each color and the sentiment varies on each one, but all are from this set. My sister or daughter one will probably swipe these from me, lol!

Ok, ready for more awesome inspiration? Here ya go:

For today, we have 3 awesome sets to showcase for you, so I will keep my chatter down to a minimum! :D

Up first is a new set by Beth Silaika called Wicked omg, been having so much fun with this FUN fun set! :D Here is what I have for today with it:

I decided to string all of those cute images up! haha! And have a couple of ghosts floating around too!

Next up is the new set by Becky Oehlers called You Say 'Ello...This set has such adorable images in it!! Here is my card for today with it:

I had a little fun with the cute little doggies in the set! :D The expression on the male dogs face looks like hes saying...'ooooooo lala! call me baby!' so I used the ever popular song 'Call Me Maybe' and typed that out using a label maker! :D I think it would be an awesome flirty card for even an old couple like me and my hubby, LOL!

Up next is the newest by Tami Mayberry called Take Note. This set has sooo many awesome possibilities, from card making to journaling to scrapbook pages! This is what I did for today with it...well, two things actually, lol!

First I made a little ATC...I still had two spots on my ATC tray to fill so used this set to help me along! Mostly just tore some book pages and used some gesso on my background, then added some cut out sayings from the set. (the domino is my lucky number! :D)

Then I made a little journaling book for me. I laminated the back and front and the tabs too, since they would be getting the most handling. Here is a pick of the inside too:

Some of the pages I stamped on, some I left blank. I will stick this in my purse and carry it with me for them times when Im shopping and an idea hits me (like when I'm in Michaels or Hobby Lobby!)

Ok, that's all from me for today...I know you want some more eye candy don'tcha!? Here ya go!:
