Stamping Friends Trifecta Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!!  Glad you stopped by today!  It's a special hop today!!

It's a Trifecta!  Three stamping companies have come together to bring you this awesome blog hop! Gina K. DesignsMy Sweet Petunia, (where the M.I.S.T.I. and the new Cut Align comes from!) and Picket Fence Studios (where the New Life Changing Brushes are from!  And the awesome stencils I have used!) I am so thrilled to be a part of it too!  Not only do we have some wonderful new products to share with you, there will also be THREE $50 gift certificates given away which will be randomly drawn from all of the comments on the blogs.  Winners of these gift cards/certificates will be announced on the company blogs no later than June (wha...???  June already?) 7th!  Ok, let me get to showcasing some of these goodies!  :D

Up first I have this card I made using Picket Fence Studios' Floral Damask Stencil and I have also used those awesome Life Changing Blender Brushes...omg I love these brushes!

I had alot of fun with this card, doing the stencil and  blending, as you can see, lots of grays!  I used all gray tone ink from Gina K. Designs and the Elegant Asters Stamp Set from Gina K. Designs (used to be a kit but its now available seperate!) I used the butterfly and stamped it with Stayz On ink onto some Cricut glitter papers then heat embossed it.  The 'hello die cut is cut several times and glued to where it looks like a shadow, hopefully, lol.  I also used some of the cricut glitter paper on a layer of the hello also.  And I used the new Cut Align from My Sweet Petunia and the M.I.S.T.I. too of course! I used the Cut Aligns to do the diagonal cuts on the edges.  These Cut Aligns are so awesome...I used the wrong stamp set and cant really show yet a card I made that I really like!  AND, I will show at a later date some leather goodies I made, ring, earrings and bracelets, using the Cut Align!  :D  BUT,   I think this card would brighten somebodies day! IT'S sure bright, lol!

Ok, next creation I did,  I used the Life Changing Brushes again along with the Stencil Peacock Tail. Just a bit of info about these LCBB, and this is straight from Nicole  :
  • LCBB are made of thousands of plastic hairs that meant to pick up but NOT absorb ink.
  • You can blend softly by holding onto the handle, blend medium by holding the head of the brush, or complete coverage by flattening the bristles.  (this really does work this way!)
  • Can be used with any water-based ink that doesn’t cause the brush to become stiff.
  • Don’t use with acrylic paint or Glitz Gel because of glitter.
  • Wash with either brush cleaner or mild soap and water
  • You don’t have to clean. Excess ink will wipe off onto scratch paper
  • You can clean with a baby wipe too Or GKD Tidy Towel that I like to use!
Here's the card:

Again, I used the Elegant Asters Stamp set and Gina K. Designs Inks to create this card.   I was making this card and hubby even noticed this one.  He said its a really pretty card and thats a big compliment from him, lol. The brushes make it so fun using the stencil!  This is a big card and I will have to make a custom envelope, and it will take a bit more to mail.  I dont mind, every once in awhile someone you love deserves a really special card that costs a bit more to mail, lol!

Ok, ready from some blowyoursocksoff eye candy?  I cant wait to hop myself!  haha!  Below is a full list of participants also, but you should have come from  Jeanne Streiff's Blog and your next stop will be  Lydia Fiedler's Blog
Full list of those participating in this hop:

Thanks ssoooo very much to all of you that stopped by and dont forget to leave those comments!  Besides it making  a card makers day, you COULD win one of the prizes!

Up first today is the new kit by Gina K.   this kit Elegant Asters....omg you gonna LOVE it!

You get ALL of that that you see up there!  Cardstock, 2 stamp sets and then the dies!  Here is what I have done with this set:
This is a quick card for me, lol.  I used the Wreath Builder also with the set. Those little leaves fit perfectly!  I stamped onto brown recycled paper in black then heat embossed the sentiment in white.  I made this card in 20 minutes!  I knowwww!  I almost fainted myself, haha!  Here is another one:

This card took a bit longer,   lol.  I used distress crayons to create the background.  i was really going for what I ended up with, but made it work.  The flowers, sentiment and the edges of the torn vellum are heat embossed in silver.  I really like the silver embossing on the edges of the vellum like that, looks better IRL as always!

New up is Lisa Hetrick's new set, Hugs and Wildflowers...another awesome set from Lisa!

And matching dies!!

here is one I  have made with this set:
For this card I also used the background stamp called Gauze.  Its very subtle so kinda hard to see also.  I then made a frame around the card base using a stamp from the set.  Stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in black.  Did some distressing and punched some holes and tied a bow and tada!  all done! Thought process on this card took lots longer than to make!  And one more card with this set to share with you:

just a quick card made with the distress crayons again since I had them out.  I used them like water colors.  This card is a Billy Favorite!  :D  Ok, one last one from this set, lol.  I made a sunset, or tried!
Its my favorite time of the day!  I could watch sunsets forever!  The colors God produces...the TRUE artist!  And my feeble attempt of capturing that ...looking through a field of wild flowers!  :D
 Next up:
we also released several  little mini stamp  sets!  Here is one called Spring Joy

 and we got matching dies!
Here is what I did with this set:
Jelly bean peeps, haha!  I used the distress crayons again on these and used our new 'Smile' die too!  Arent they cute!?  And we also released other mini stamp sets with will have a matching die.  Below are the ones we released:
And a stand alone die,

Whew!!  How awesome of a release is THIS!!?

Gina K. Designs' Whats New

Up first today is the new set from Melanie Muenchinger, Puppies Galore.  You KNEW it had to be coming after the kitties, right?  LOL!

Here is what I have done with this set so far:

For this little cutey I colored him with prisma pencils and gamsol.  And then the little paws i placed to look like he was holding a little sign over the edge there .  Then just did a bit of scoring after stamping the pawprints  on to the card base.

And next one is this one:
For this doggy I was trying to make him look 'rough'...the brown is suppose to be mud on him and he is sitting in a mud puddle...lol!  Did get all that from it?  ha!  billy didnt, lol.  psssfftt men....I used watercolor and pencils on this little guy.  I cut the 'hugs'  out two times once in black and then in the pink (matching the tongue, lol)  and just kinda offset it to give a shadow effect (affect?  gah!!  I always get them confused, lol!)  I digress  ...I also did a bit of distressing on the edges, layered a black cardstock at an angle on the card base also.  This set is sooo much fun!   And it can be used for all ages!  AND everybody loves Puppies!!  :D

Ok, next up is Beth Silaika's new set, For The Grad

Yep, that time of year again!  I really loving this set too.  (It can be used in the wreath set too! well, all stamps can, some do better than others, lol)  Here is what I have done today with it:

I kept it one layer basically.  I stamped and heat embossed in gold the Dream Big, Class of and 2019.  I stamped the images in the corner and then just took a ruler and drew the lines like that.  The confetti pieces are stamped in gold ink.  Easy Peasy!  And then this one:

I used the wreath builder with this one for the focal image, stamped in gold and then stamped the hats over that.  I also stamped some images of the diploma onto the card base and made the red tassle to hang from the corner to go along with the saying.  I got a nephew whos colors are red black and gold so this will be for him!  :D  Ok, one more with this set...had to do one, lol!

Well isnt that just plain looking mortarboard!!  Wait!!  Look below!

When you open it you get this!  I just did a stamping with the wreath builder again.  this time using diplomas.  I used gold paper to give it some shine!  How fun is this?  I saw this like , oh , 5 years or so ago and made one way back then and just had to with this set again!  :D

ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?  I have no doubt my fellow DT will have some for you!  Just click on the links below to go to their blogs!

Ok, that's all from me for today! BUT be sure and come on back by tomorrow, Ill have more goodies for you to see!!

Gina K. Designs / Therm-O-Web Stamp n Stencil™ Blog Hop March 2019 Release

Hey Y'all!!  Glad you stopped by!

Welcome to a brand new release with Gina K. and Therm o web!  And OMG....I think this is my favorite so far!

*UPDATE #2!  Lots are sold out (more one the way!)  BUT, Black Onyx is one of my favorite ones and one of the most gorgeous actually to me and its still available!  :D:D

Update!  Glitz Glitter Gel is back in stock!  yay!  Here is a link directly to those:

Glitz Glitter Gels

We have stamps, stencils, dies, and...and...wait for it...........Glitz Glitter Gel!  I LOVE this stuff y'all!  If you know me at all, you know I struggle with glitter, and I can still make a mess with this, but, and that's a HUGE but for me, I do not get it like, up my nose, and just all over everything....and you can breathe around it and not blow it everywhere, lol!  We have put together a little hop for you using the new product, which will be back in stock VERY vera soon!  I know!  It's painful!!  BUT I will keep checking and post a follow up link to all of the goodies once in stock for you!  And as with all of our hops, we will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs, so be sure and comment on all the blogs to increase you chances of winning!    Winner will be announced on March 29th!

Ok, up first I have a card (everyone  of my cards I do use the Glitz Glitter on!) I used the Crazy Daisy stamp n stencil set:
This is what I did with it:

For this card I didnt use the matching stencil, to show how versatile this set can be, used with the matching one or any one or really not one, lol!  Sooo many options!  I used the white Glitz Gel and then stamped the  daisies here in there in versamark ink and heat embossed with some clear.  I used the new white/silver ribbon that was just released too and it fit perfect!  distressed it a bit to hide boo boos, haha!  I really do love how this card that was almost trashed turned out!

Next up is another card using the same stamp set with watercolors this time.

I watercolored onto the stamps and then stamped onto watercolor paper.  For the flower, i used the Crazy Daisy stencil after diecutting with the matching dies to this set,  with some of the Bubblegum and Sweet mango Glitz Gel mixed together (yes, you CAN mix it!) to create the center of the flower under the brad and also touched some on the edges.  Again, bit of distressing done on this one too...guess I'm in a mood huh?  LOL

Next up I used the stamp n stencil set, Petals and Wings:

Here is what I did:
I first used the Crazy Daisy Stencil and Black Glitz Gel to create the swirly thingy.  After it dried really good, I then took watercolors slapped them all around, and also onto the butterfly stamp and stamped it onto a die cut, then when it dried I used the stencil again and added the detail with black Glitz Gel to the butterfly.  LOVE love love....I feel like an ArTEEST!  :D

Ok, next up and I saved Billy's favorite for last used all Glitz Gels and an older stencil by Gina K., Nature's Elements.  I used the sun from that stencil to match the sentiment I used from the Petals and Wings set:

For the middle area, I first took the turquoise sea ink pad and stamped it directly onto the watercolor paper, using that paper in case I had decided to add watercolor, but I didnt, lol.  Then I masked off the rectangle shape and just smeared the Glitz Gels back in forth creating a sunrise sky, or similiar, lol.  I then let that dry before adding the sun stencil...how awesome is that?  LOVE that you can layer like this too!  Yep, I'mma bea happy camper of this stuff for sure!  not to mention all the stamp sets and stencils and dies, oh my!!

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?!  Just follow the links below!

Thanks sooo very much for stopping by my little blog!  I do hope to improve with more posts this year, things starting look a bit better for that to happen!  :D   So come  back soon!  :D

Gina K. Designs February 2019 Release

Hey Y'all!!

Glad to you!  Today we have the much awaited for MEGA wreath builder to showcase for you, along with the Mini wreath builder AND 2 stamp sets!  whew!!   Gonna be alot of gorgeous projects created with these thats for sure!  And as always, be sure to leave them comments along the way!  Your chance to win  $50 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs!

Ok, let's get started!

First up I have the stamp set, Vibrant Blooms

I have a little card I made with this one:

I created the sky and sun by using the Nature's Elements Stencil.  The hill was created by a curved die and then the stamped flowers of course are from the stamp set.  I Love this saying because so many of my online and offline friends add sunshine to my life!

Ok, next up I have the stamp set, You Make Me Happy

And this is the card I made with this set which I did show at the release party:
I tried to create a spilled jar of water that had a rose in it...water really isnt THAT blue though, lol!  But I think it turned out ok?!  Everything was quickly watercolored.  And I added a 'cheater bow' as Gina calls them!   :D

Next we have the Mini Wreath Builder Template

The stamp set: Mini Wreath Builder Stamp set

And here is a card I made with this little cutie:

This little template is sooo much fun to use! The possibilities with this set are endless!   This card was created for my daughter for Valentines day!  It it took me less than 30 minutes, which THAT in itself is a miracle for me, haha!

Ok, up now is the BIG Mama herself, The Mega Wreath Builder/Bundle

You can purchase the Mega templates by themselves too if you want: Mega Wreath Builder Templates (NO M.I.S.T.I.)

I personally have not used the templates with the Memory M.I.S.T.I.  To me, its a good investment, truly.  I do struggle with lining stuff up or not stamping it even and this little do hicky sure has saved me alot of trashing my cards!  :D  from the small to this mega size!

Here is what I have created for today:

I had this frame a laying around that I wanted to use for this..I was going for a chalkboard design, lol.  all stamped in white ink.  The two stamp sets I used were the Layered Daisies
and Thanksful and Blessed.  I LOVE how the wreath turned out, and I have one in the works that I am working on coloring leaves I hope to get done soon!  :D

Thanks sooo very much for stopping by!  I promise to not go so long between posts this time, lol!  Havea  wonderfully create day!
