Make Your Holiday Shine with Foil-Mates™

Hey Y'all!  Welcome to a wonderful fun hop chalked full of eye candy!  It's getting that time of year, all the sparkly and glittery things are being seen everywhere!  (LOVE!)  And now, with this new line from Gina K. Designs  and Therm O Web, its going to make your holiday cards, packages and giving look so good they will not want to open them!  :D

First up, I'd like to show you a boxed set of cards I made using Gina k. stamps and the Foil Mates line:

For my little box of 5 flat card  with envelopes I followed Gina's video of  how to make a Memory Keeper!  It was back in 2010, but sooo awesome!  I have used the new StampTV kit also, Merry and Bright.  And now a picture of it opened and the cards:

And one last one from the set.  It's soo hard to show them in all of their shiny glory!  :D

These were so super quick and easy with the new holiday line of Foil-Mates™!  Which is coming in super handy for me this year...our little town is having their Christmas on the Main and I'm gonna do a booth this year!  Yay fun!  :D  With these, it is!

AND I have also made a TAG box...a box I will be selling at the Christmas on the Main too.  I havent decided exactly how many tags to put into each box yet though...what do ya think?  10?  15?   I would love to hear what you think!

Here is my little tag book closed.  I used a simple tie on the side to keep closed.  On the front here I have used a die that matches Melanie's new set, Fabulous Labels Die set

Here is it is opened:

I have some of the twine and ribbon already attached and will also include some extra ribbon and twine in the boxes.  I have decorated the inside of the box with Melanie's set, Fabulous Holiday Labels

AND just want to tell you to be sure and do the hop with all of us!  Because as usual, Gina is giving away a $25 Gift Certificat!  So be sure and leaves comments on all the blogs to increase your chance to win!  The winner will be announced  a few days after the hop in the Big News Forum on StampTV!

Ok, up first today is Beth's newest set Noelle Mouse!  This is an absolutely adorable set!!

And this is what I have made with it:

I was trying to make it look a little 'house' scene.  That black spot is a mouse hole...lol!  Noelle has been up to some mischief!  She stole a candy cane and knocked over a tree!  :D  I also made this card that I showed at the release party...sorta a Rustic Christmas look:

I also used the Fabulous Label Die set and Fabulous Holiday Fillers  set of Melanies too.

================

Next is Chris' new set, Purrfect Christmas

And this is what I have made with this set:

Can you tell I love rustic looks?  LOL!  I water colored the tree and background and then added some white paste with a paintbrush.  I used some little charms from my jewelry stash too.  I also stepped away from Christmas card mode and made this fun and quick card:

If you own a cat, you can probably relate to what Im conveying here, lol!  I do love the kitty cats though!  :D

Ok, next is the new incentive set, Scripty Holidays.

Here is what I have made for today:

I used the yummy Distress Oxide inks on this one.  DTP technique used and then used the poinsettias from the new StampTV kit (which we will be having another blog hop on Monday the 23rd for that!)

Ok, thats all from me for today  Ready for more awesome eye candy?!!  Just follow the links below!!

Gina K Designs October 2017 Release Inspiration Blog Hop -- Day 1!!

Hey Y'all!!  Welcome to our Inspiration Blog Hop for our newest Gina K Designs release!  So thrilled you stopped by!  This is our holiday release and its packed full of awesomeness!  It's always my favorite release of the year!

Today we will be featuring Melanie's and Theresa's newest sets!  First up I have Melanie's, which is called Fabulous Holiday Labels.  This set can be combined with several of Melanie's sets which makes the possibilities endless!

and the Die set that matches:

My first card I showed at the release party.  I used the die set and also used Holiday Frame Fillers.  AND I had to use some of the Fancy Foil Mates Holiday collections!

and then, I used the cut out label part for this card:

I stamped some of the images on the cut out and then heat embossed in a sparkly red and white glitter, reminds me of candy canes!  :D  The little tree is actually a button/charm I had in my stash.

======================================================================

Next up is Theresa's new set, Peaceful Holidays

I showed this card at the release too.

I did a bit of watercoloring on the dove and around it, quick and easy and I added some sparkle too with a clear glitter pen.  The edge with the string tied is metallic cardstock that I pulled out of my stash!  :D

And then I decided  I wanted to do a combo card of these two sets.  This is what I did for that:

I used the image with the snowflakes from melanie's set to make my 'Snow banks'  and then stamped the trees and deer from Theresa's set.  It also has snow in sparkly goodness that you cant see, just little dots I made here and there.  I added a pop of color with the red ribbon to finish it off!  :D

Ok, that's all from me for today!  Ready for more inspiration from the rest of the team?  AND don't forget to leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate!!  You can check to see who won a few days after the blog hops by going to the Big News Forum

For today, I have two cards I wanted to share with you.  First one...It using the dies in the set, no stamping!  :D

I used the thankful die and shadow die for it and the maple leaf die/  I started to stamp on it, but liked how the white looked!  The 'frame' I created using Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers on water paper.  It looks better in person, you can see all the sparkly goodness!  And next, I did do some stamping...and heat embossing, and used glossy paper, and ....ok, well, here it is!  :D
ANd even some hand stitiching!  :D  I also made this background with the Spectrum Sparkly markers.  I sat down and played the other day and this is one of the background I made while playing.  The leaves where stamped and then heat embossed in white embossing powder so they would really pop off the page.  I just LOVE this set!  Fall is my favorite time of year, and this set just makes me feel like its about here!

Gina K Designs August Release Inspiration Blog Hop, Day 2!!

Hey Y'all!!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K and the illustrator team from Gina K. Designs!  We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!  Today we are featuring the stamp sets by Beth Silaika and Claire Brennan.

These stamp sets are so fun and versatile! You will be able to create amazing card projects using each individual set or by combining the images and sentiments from multiple sets from this release. Have fun and be creative!

Perfect Poinsettia by Claire

and Todd Turtle by Beth

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration?

Up first for today I have Beth and her newest set, Todd Turtle.  (Dont you think its awesome how Beth names the sets she does after a family member!:  LOL)

For Todd, I created him a little home, lol!  I first created the background and did that with water color and then the sand is sandpaper.  I used a die for the seaweed and then colored the images with pencils  I also made is shell really shiny!  Here is a close up of that:

He is just too cute!  There are more images in the set, but I just feel in love with Todd!  :D

Ok, next up is Claire's newest set, Perfect Poinsettia.  And its a triple stamping images but I only used the outling image and the solid one:
I made the background with some Christmas themed tissue paper that I had saved from last year, glued it onto cardstock and then swiped it here and there with some metallic paste .  I made the poinsettia out of vellum...embossed it with gold then used a stylus on it to turn it white (2x) I took the solid image and embossed it with gold and then layered them all.  Then made the gold frame with a die and also the sentiment circle.  I also layered onto gold cardstock.  It sounds complicated, but its not really.  :D
Next I wanted to show you the new incentive stamp set Nuturing Blooms

Here is my card:

I made it really rustic, thinking male card, which to lots of us is so hard to do, lol!  I created the middle panel by using some paper that has the consistency or a brown paper bag (the name escaped me now and im being lazy and not going to find it, LOL) The 'journey' is an embossing folder by Tim Holtz.  I tore the edges, stamped the incentives on it then used  washi tape.  I also ties some surgeon knots onto the piece of string I used.  I stamped the sentiment, cut out with a die then sponged the edges of it.  I had fun playing with this one, LOL!  And thats what is about, right?  :D

Gina K Designs August Release, Day 1!!

Hey Y'all!!  Welcome to my little spot on the web!

Today we are featuring the stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger and Theresa Momber.

Melanie's set Fabulous Rose Frame (It has dies to match that you can purchase seperately!!)

 Theresa's set The Wetlands 2

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

First up is Melanie's set, Fabulous Rose Frames...this set just as itself is sooo awesome!  And I love the possibilities with all the goodies in this set!  Mel, as usual, thinks her sets out, down to the tiniest of images having a special purpose!  This set does that!  AND, the dies for it can be purchased separately!  Here is my first card I wanted to show you:

For this card.....Ok, so in the past I have made flowers using tissue paper   and would kinda watercolor the edges of the flower ...I first embossed the image onto tissue paper, and you have to be very careful when doing the heat gun to it, or it will burn the paper!  (Ask me how I know this!  LOL)  Then I add the watercoloring, and I will dry as I go along.  It's such a really cool effect and feel IRL!

Up next I have Theresa Mombers new set, The Wetlands 2....Here is what I have done :

I just stamped the image of one tree then cut into strips and moved them uneven like that.  and then I also used that same background paper I made on this set:

For this card, I used some water color markers and went back and forth with the different colors.  I then stamped the trees, masking off the little bottom reflection part that looks like water.  I meant to give the trees a shadow on the 'ground'  but forgot to do that until just now as Im writing up this blog post, lol!   I like how this turned out too, super easy!

Ok, ready for some  more eye candy:!  Here is the link list!
