For today, I have two cards I wanted to share with you.  First one...It using the dies in the set, no stamping!  :D

I used the thankful die and shadow die for it and the maple leaf die/  I started to stamp on it, but liked how the white looked!  The 'frame' I created using Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers on water paper.  It looks better in person, you can see all the sparkly goodness!  And next, I did do some stamping...and heat embossing, and used glossy paper, and ....ok, well, here it is!  :D
ANd even some hand stitiching!  :D  I also made this background with the Spectrum Sparkly markers.  I sat down and played the other day and this is one of the background I made while playing.  The leaves where stamped and then heat embossed in white embossing powder so they would really pop off the page.  I just LOVE this set!  Fall is my favorite time of year, and this set just makes me feel like its about here!

Perfect Poinsettia by Claire

and Todd Turtle by Beth

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration?

Up first for today I have Beth and her newest set, Todd Turtle.  (Dont you think its awesome how Beth names the sets she does after a family member!:  LOL)

For Todd, I created him a little home, lol!  I first created the background and did that with water color and then the sand is sandpaper.  I used a die for the seaweed and then colored the images with pencils  I also made is shell really shiny!  Here is a close up of that:

He is just too cute!  There are more images in the set, but I just feel in love with Todd!  :D

Ok, next up is Claire's newest set, Perfect Poinsettia.  And its a triple stamping images but I only used the outling image and the solid one:
I made the background with some Christmas themed tissue paper that I had saved from last year, glued it onto cardstock and then swiped it here and there with some metallic paste .  I made the poinsettia out of vellum...embossed it with gold then used a stylus on it to turn it white (2x) I took the solid image and embossed it with gold and then layered them all.  Then made the gold frame with a die and also the sentiment circle.  I also layered onto gold cardstock.  It sounds complicated, but its not really.  :D
Next I wanted to show you the new incentive stamp set Nuturing Blooms

Here is my card:

I made it really rustic, thinking male card, which to lots of us is so hard to do, lol!  I created the middle panel by using some paper that has the consistency or a brown paper bag (the name escaped me now and im being lazy and not going to find it, LOL) The 'journey' is an embossing folder by Tim Holtz.  I tore the edges, stamped the incentives on it then used  washi tape.  I also ties some surgeon knots onto the piece of string I used.  I stamped the sentiment, cut out with a die then sponged the edges of it.  I had fun playing with this one, LOL!  And thats what is about, right?  :D

Gina K Designs August Release, Day 1!!

Hey Y'all!!  Welcome to my little spot on the web!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K and the illustrator team from Gina K. Designs!  We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today we are featuring the stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger and Theresa Momber.

Melanie's set Fabulous Rose Frame (It has dies to match that you can purchase seperately!!)

 Theresa's set The Wetlands 2

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

First up is Melanie's set, Fabulous Rose Frames...this set just as itself is sooo awesome!  And I love the possibilities with all the goodies in this set!  Mel, as usual, thinks her sets out, down to the tiniest of images having a special purpose!  This set does that!  AND, the dies for it can be purchased separately!  Here is my first card I wanted to show you:

For this card.....Ok, so in the past I have made flowers using tissue paper   and would kinda watercolor the edges of the flower ...I first embossed the image onto tissue paper, and you have to be very careful when doing the heat gun to it, or it will burn the paper!  (Ask me how I know this!  LOL)  Then I add the watercoloring, and I will dry as I go along.  It's such a really cool effect and feel IRL!

Up next I have Theresa Mombers new set, The Wetlands 2....Here is what I have done :

I just stamped the image of one tree then cut into strips and moved them uneven like that.  and then I also used that same background paper I made on this set:

For this card, I used some water color markers and went back and forth with the different colors.  I then stamped the trees, masking off the little bottom reflection part that looks like water.  I meant to give the trees a shadow on the 'ground'  but forgot to do that until just now as Im writing up this blog post, lol!   I like how this turned out too, super easy!

Ok, ready for some  more eye candy:!  Here is the link list!
