Winter, Holiday, Christmas, Snowmen, Snowflakes, Poinsettia, Tree, Wreath Builder,
This set will be TIMEless!  You will reach for it in the upcoming years I just know it!  Here is what I have done for today:
On my card I also used the background stamp Diagonal Stripes...looks like candy canes dont it?  :D  I stamped the large poinsettia flower 2 times and the smaller one once and heat embossed with embossing powders and then layered them.  Layered with gold paper and lace...it gives it a kinda nostalgic look to me!  What ya think?

I also wanted to show you two new background stamps we have!  I LOVE background stamps!
Tall Birch
Tall Pines
Here is one card I made with the Tall Birch and  one of the little snowmen from the card kit:

Isnt it adorable with that little envelope  in his hand, peeping out of the trees!?  LOL!  I stamped the trees onto colored vellum from my stash and heat embossed them in white.  I cut a little slit in the vellum,  after coloring the snowman with copics then die cutting him and poked him in the slit to make him look like hes 'in the trees'  LOL!  AND I just got to say, Gina's connect clue works AWEsome on vellum!  I just put little dabs where the trees are on the backside of it so you couldnt see it and it has held fantastic!
Ok, thats all for today from me!  Your next stop will be .............the oh so talented.............drumrolll...........................

Y'all dont forget to leave those comments along the way!  Gina will be picking the winners of the $50 GCs a few days after the blog hops!  That is almost enough to get this kit! :D

Just a little inspiration....

Hey Y'all!!  Glad you stopped by!  I got a few cards I want to share with you from this past Gina K. Designs September release!

Up first I have one with the new Happy Fall set:
and here is my card:
I did a CAS card, which are really hard for me, lol.  I always think I  need to just add one more thing, ha!  I stamped the leaves on the card base with versamark ink and then the banner and little leaves also in matching color and cut them out and glued them in this matter to look like falling leaves, or tried, LOL!  I used little jewelry jump rings as my hangers for my banner and then just slipped the cord chord through and tired a bow, tada! done!

Next one I am sharing is from the ;Majestic Peony set:
and my card:
For this card I used water colors.  I did not spend much time on the flowers, I just wanted basically to keep it kinda soft and feminine.  I actually love how the background came out, but you dont have much of it to see, lol!  I then decided to make a shaped cards with some old dies I have had forever.  Shaped cards a fun!  :D  The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of vellum and I used the Connect glue to glue it to the card, just little dots here and there and it holds fantastic!

and next two cards are from that awesome Autumn Splendor Card Kit, that sadly for the ones that did not get at release time, is now sold out!  So sorry!  BUT you can console yourself with the thought that the stamp sets will be sold when the next kit comes out, not as a kit, but separately. Even the awesome stencil will be available separately!
And here are my cards:

The first card with the kraft card stock just uses the stencil and then a sentiment from the set.  I SO love our stencil collection we now have with Gina K. Designs!  And new on this one is that the name of the stencil is in raised embossed like letters on the edge of the stencil and it has like a little beviled edge that makes the stenciled edges even more sharp and clear!  LOVE it!    The flower I made and stuck on is a simple one to make.  one of those you just free hand cut in a circle then roll up!  :D

The next card is the fun Crayon Resist technique!  If you have never tried the crayon resist technique Gina has a fun video on it here:  Gina K. 's Crayon Resist Video.  And that is basically how I did this card.  Then I cut the dies and layered them to give them more dimension.  I distressed the edges a bit to go along with my distressed looking crayon resist there, haha!  But I kep tthis card pretty plain and flat for easy mailing!  :D

ok, that's all for today!   I hope is some small way (or big) that I have inspired you!  I truly believe that we all have a creative soul...you just have to find that one thing that inspires it!  See ya later gator!

FEATURES

Autumn, fall, leaves, coneflowers, sunflowers, grateful, thank you, friendship

And this is what I have for you today:
For this card I stamped the image with versamark ink, and was gonna heat emboss with gold, but went another direction with sorta no line coloring, lol. I used prisma pencils for my coloring.   Im in love with these big ole' cone flowers!  You can just color them any way you want, or not color and they look fantastic!  If you google to get idea of how to color you will see just all colors!  Rich vibrant and some like this.  So very versatile!  Notice the little petal that fell off?  haha  Ok and then I made this with the leaves from the kit:
For this card, there I go, doodling on my cards again, lol.  I stamped the leaf, a two step stamping one, which is VERY easy to line up, i promise!  then I decided to doodle around the petals like i have done.  For my background I used the Foliage stencil and also, to keep with the doodling, doodles around it here and there!  This one is a Billy POTR....(Pick Of The Release)!!  :D
And quickly, the new incentive stamp, Santana Rose.  This is the free stamp set you get with $75 purchase and are a big hit!  No need to put in your cart either, it will auto ship with qualifying orders too.
I showed this card at the release that I made, went a little artsy, lol!  You know those rainbow roses you have seen at florists and such?  Well, this is my feeble attempt at that:
I used my new Everblend markers that I got from Arteza on this.  Ill give my opinion later in another blog post about those too, when ive  had a bit more coloring under my belt with them!  D:
Ok, thats all for today from me!  You next stop on the hop is the oh soooo ooberly talented..............drumrolllllllllllll..................

Thanks so much for stopping by and the awesome comments you leave!! They mean so much!  I wish blogger had a way for me to respond to each of you back!

Autumn Splendor Card Kit

You should have come from the super ooberly awesome...........

DONNA IDLET's BLOG!!

Up first today Hannah's new set called Majestic Peonies.

These are most definitely Majestic!  They are gorgeous HUGE flowers!  Here is what I have for today:

Since I showed one I had colored last night (in black and white, pic below) I decided to do some fun paper piecing!  I only paper pieced the flowers and then just left the leaves and other foliage blank.  I then layered it onto that same paper and cut around the edges of the flowers to get the look it has here.  This took no time where as the coloring took me awhile, im slow like that, lol!

Ok, up next is Emily's (Congrats to her on her new baby!!) set called Happy Fall and Happy Fall Die Set:

Here is what I have done for today:

For this card I first put down some fall color inks from the GKD line and the I used the Leafy stencil.  I then cut my paper at the top and did some stitching up there and a bit in Xs around the bottom.  The sentiment was heat embossed in clear, before sponging the colors on actually.  It needed something so slapped up bow up top..STILL not sure about it, but I spent some time on it so showed anyways, lol!

Hope you have enjoyed my creations and feel that inspiration to break out your GKD stamps too!  Up next in our blog hop is the oh so awesome...........drumrolllllllllll..............

SUSIE MOORE!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Be sure and come on back by tomorrow for another blog hop and inspiration!!
