For today, we have the brand new StampTV kit, Hearts and Flowers!

Hearts and Flowers StampTV kit

This set...omg!  I am in love with everything about it!  And just in time for that Valentine you might want to make a card for!  ;)  Here is a card I created with this set that I gave a sneak peek on Instagram:

I made this card's background with water colors and then water colored the flower to match.  I heat embossed the flowes with white embossing powder first.  And trying to use some of the HUGE amount of sequins I thought I had to have, lol!  This flower is so fun to color though!

And another card I made using this set:

For this card I created the music paper myself, couldnt find any free online like I wanted.  Then stamped the little hearts, guitar and the sentiment with versamark and then heat embossed with a turquoise embossing powder.  That sentiment is flat out awesome!  LOVE that especially!  I can truly say I can say that to my hubby.  We will be celebrating our 36th wedding anniversay on the 22nd!  It does not seem like its been that long...but we do have a 34 yr. old daughter to show for it, lol!

Up next we have the new Incentive stamp (it's free with $75 orders!).  It's called, You Get Me:

ok, yes, you are seeing this card twice.  lol!  I forgot this was the card I made to go with the incentive stamp set that I combined with Claires new Geo Thanks set.  *redfaced*  BUT, dont this saying just fit those feathers?  LOVE love love every single sentiment of this set.  So many I will be sending  cards made from this set to!  :D

Ok, thats all from me for today!  I hope along the way I have inspired a few of you!  :D

You should have came from Beth Silaika's Blog to mine and your next stop will be Claire Brennan's Blog!  If you get lost on the way, you can always click to Gina's blog and she will have the list up for you too!

Here is the list of my fellow GKD design team!  I 'm sure they have some awesome eye candy for you! Cant wait to see for myself too!

A funny...I had a friend/fan tell me that my hearts looked like those fancy decorated cookies!  I said, yep, they look like my cookies I cook, burnt on the edges!  LOL!

Have a wonderfully creative day!

Gina K Designs January Blog Hop Inspiration Blog hop Day 2!

Hey y'all!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Welcome to day 2 of our Gina K. Designs first release of the new year!  We have some awesome sets this month by our illustrators AND  new kit too!  So very excited to share with you!  As always, be sure and leave a comment as you blog hop along for your chance to win a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Gina K. Designs!  There will be THREE winners, one from each day! You can check the Big News Forum on StampTV a few days after the hops to see if you are a winner!

Today, up first is Theresa Momber's new set in the Framescape series, Enchanted Forest.

Framescapes Enchanted Forest

Oh this set is just magical!  LOL!  Fun to stamp and create a little forest scene with too! Here is what I have for today:

I created a magical night scene with the little fairy hitching a ride on the moon to sprinkle her stars in the night sky!  (Can you tell i like telling children stories, lol!)  I used the new Connect Glue by Gina K. and it works FANtastic!  It grabs just right...not too quick, a bit of play time but then its stuck!  These are little tiny sequin stars and you know how sequins are a bit onery about sticking!  And the silver frame is from some of that silver papers from the Dollar Tree and it will not stick over a sponged area with scor-tape even and so I used the Connect Glue and it stuck! yay!  Only complaint, I want a bigger bottle!  haha!

Next up, Our newest Illustrator Lisa Hetrick's set, You Are...I LOVE the sayings in this set!

You Are

This is what I Have for today with this set:

For this card I stamped and heat embossed the images in black and then I used Distress Oxide ink to make the watercolored background. Stamped the 'hello' in the same oxide ink but I messed it up so stamped it with black to cover my booboo and to look like I made the shadow on purpose, Ha!
And here is another one with this set:

I stamped the images directly onto some DP and stamped an extra heart to pop up.  VERY super quick card!  LOVE it!

Ok, last but far from the least is Claire Brennan's set Geo Thanks:

Geo Thanks
I have had some fun with this set!  As a designer, sometimes ideas just overflow your brain on certain sets...doesnt matter who it by, it just happens and this set is the one that did me this way this time!  here is my first card for today:

For this card, I was going for a stained glass look.  I stamped the feather image onto vellum paper with versamark ink and then heat embossed it in white. I then colored on the backside of the image.  I took the image of the feather and also stamped it onto plain white cardstock and then popped up the layer of vellum over it.  I liked how it turned out, so did another in the same way!  :D

I love it with the florals in the set too!  Done same way as I described above!

Ok, that's all from me for today!  We will be showcasing the new StampTV kit tomorrow so be sure to come on back by then!

You should have came from Beth Silaika's Blog to mine and your next stop will be Donna Idlet's Blog!  If you get lost on the way, you can always click to Gina's blog and she will have the list up for you too!

Down below these links are more of my cards using these sets. I showed this at the release party!

Thanks sooo very much for stopping by!  AND especially all of the awesome comments!  I read every single one!

Stately Flowers 12

Here is a card I have for today:

I first stamped the floral image with versamark and then heat embossed it with white.  I then used my Distress Crayons and a baby wipe to make the background in shades of blue!  Super easy and fun!   Down below you can see other cards I made with this set and showed at the Release Party!

Next up is Beth's new set, Emmy and Riley Flamingos!

Ohhh my is this a cute set or what?  So fun to work with!  Here is what I have for today:

A super simple card, CAS!  I stamped the bird onto Innocent Pink cardstock from Gina K Designs and then just colored with Prisma colored pencils.  He/she is too cute!  And one more with this set:

For this card I just repeated the image stamping with versamark ink.  I did not emboss it, just left it like a watermark.  And that saying cracks me up!  LOL!

OK! Thats all from me today!  You should have came from Beth Silaika's Blog to my blog, and next up would be Donna Idlet's Blog  Here is a list of all of the blogs:
