Hey y'all!! Welcome back to our last day for this release that is, of Inspiration Hops!

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.

Up first today we have our newest Illustrator, Debbie Corbari's with her mini Darling Divas set! These super fun! I showed this card at the party, but showing it here again in case you missed it, lol!

I love this skater diva! I wish I could ice skate...I tried once on a band trip we went on...nope, ankles kept flopping over sideways...was NOT fun! LOL! But our talented little diva here has made a figure 8! :D

Up next is the new One Free with Three set called Sweet Tweets. Cute CUTE set! Is what I have done for today with this set:

I used some DP and then also drew the white lines as a frame around the image area...the other white is on the DP. I colored the little birdie with copics! (by the way, I had a question about what blue colors I used on the bluebird below...I will get that to you as soon as I can!) Another thing I lvoe about these clear stamps is how you can bend them like Ihave done on this circle! fun!!

Ok, Ready for more eye candy? Here ya go!

Thanks sooo very much for stopping by this week! I do read every single comment that is left! They are truly appreciated and keeps me inspired! :D

Again today we have 3 brand spanking new sets to show ya! Up first is Theresa Momber's newest set called Birds and Blossoms ... and in true Theresa style, so very realistic! Here is my card for today:

I HAD to color that gorgeous little bluebird in this set. We have a couple of them in the spring here, such a gorgeous vibrant blue! So I tried to capture that in these images. I used copics to color them with and think they turned out pretty close to the real ones! I hope to be able to get their pic this year! LOL!

Up next is Becky Oehlers's newest set called, Spoon Me! Omg, such a FUN set! Here is what I did for today with it:

I made a long skinny card (bowling lanes) and then the pins to look like they have been 'Bowled Over' LOL! Super quick one too! Oh so much fun gonna come out of this set! :D

Up last but not least is Tami Mayberry's Newest set called, Simple Hearts. They might be called 'simple' but you can do some amazing and fun things with them! Here is what I have done:

I did a bit of shabby/chic on mine for today. Used some burlap, and distress crackle paint in white...add some tickets and punched out sentiments from the set and then the pin, and ta-da! LOL!

Ready for more awesome eye candy? Here ya go!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I truly LOVe reading your comments! Be sure and come on back by tomorrow 'cause we have one more day of hops for ya!

Gina K Designs January Release Inspiration DT Hop, Day 1!!

Hey y'all!! Welcome to our first day of the Inspiration hops for this month!

AND we have so much to show you...besides the new stamp sets, Gina will now be having her OWN line of ink! Ink that matches the Pure Luxury cardstocks! SOOooo very excited about this! It's called Color Companions !! You are going to LOVE this line! Inks, buttons, reinkers AND cardstock...all matchy matchy like us card makers/scrapbookers love!

Ok, now for our sets for today, which we have 3 of! Up first is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called, Stately Flowers 6..Yep, another in the State flowers series! yay! Here is what I did for today:

I had to make a yellow rose, my Mom's favorite! She would get so homesick after she moved to live with her sister up in northern AR, when they would play 'Yellow Rose of Texas' on the radio...so this is in memory of her! I spritz it was some shimmerz, hard to get a pic of that though! Otherwise its really a one layer card...I embossed the Spellbinders label around the rose that I colored with copics..did some masking to sponge the green on and then spritz it.

Up next is Beth Silaika's Newest set called Lovely Ladybug. Here is my card for that set:

There are SOooo many possibilities to build your own ladybug, in any color you want too! :D This set just makes me smile! And I also made a card that I showed at the party in which I didnt make ladybugs, I made a flower! So fun!

Ok, last but not least is Carolyn King's newest set called Stamp It Big! I am so loving these BIG sentiments in this set...so fun! They can stand alone or be added to some DP..either way works fantastic! Here is my card for today with it:

I embossed the 'Thanks' in clear embossing powder and then masked it off...used the new ink pad in Honey Mustard directly to the cardstock. It kinda bled through my tape I used to mask with...but I like how that turned out...happy accident! :D

Ok, ready for more awesome inspiration and eye candy? Here ya go!

Thanks for stopping by today! Come on back by tomorrow, same time, same place! Ill have a few more stamp sets to showcase for ya!!

Omg!

Hey y'all!! Its been a MONTH since I updated??!! I didnt realize that! And I"ve been making stuffs, been quite busy in fact, lol! That time of year I know, but, one of my resolutions is to update on the ole' blog more! LOL! Let's see how that works out this year, haha!

I wanted to share something I made for my sister. She has roosters in her kitchen and Last year, I purchased a calendar that was a clearance for 10 cents...it had ALL roosters and chickens in it! Anyways, saved it all this time to make her this:

I found this wooden piece at Wal-mart and decorated it with one of the calendar pages. Finally got my nephew to bring me some old rustic Chicken wire and used a staple gun to attach it. The wood piece is painted with acrylic paints and used this stuff that makes it crackle and look old. Mod podge was used to attach the chicken. I cut it first though, then attached them. The Black clothespins are used to hang a note or recipe card from..it looks good in her kitchen! LOL! I also made these little magnets, 2" x 2":

Arent they too cute!?? I got 4 extras too! Sooo how about a bit of blog candy!?? If I can get at least 5 comments Ill give away these to a randomly chosen winner! Ill be lucky to get 5 , lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hanging with me! Hope your New Year has started off as good as mine!
