I have created for today’s hop:

First up today is Beth's set, Spring Fling:

How cute are these little guys??  Here is my first card with this set:

Well, this card kinda took its own direction, lol!  I stamped the little guys all out onto water color papers then masked them off with full intentions of water coloring them too.  But after creating the background and rubbing of the masking stuff I thought it looked pretty neat with them in just white!  LOL!  Kinda looks like an easter egg exploded though on the background now that I look at it more, haha!  And notice my ribbon slipped a bit there over the word 'spring'  *sighs*  we are our worst critics arent we?  Ok, here is another:

This was a quick little card with matching envelope and I used that adorable bunny on it!  I just love him!  Him and the duck are my favorite!  :D

Next is Claire's set, Springtime Baskets.

This set is just packed FULL of so many awesome images and will having you stamping these baskets well past Springtime!  :D  Here is my first card I made with this set:

I used the planter and stuck some daffodils in it!  I decided to hang the sentiment like a sign from the main image...I used a broken piece of jewelry to make the little chain.  I colored the flowers with copic markers.  (by the way...we call these Jonquils around here, even have a festival just a bit away from me every year about the time they start blooming...which I just noticed today that they are!)

Here is another card I made and I combined the two sets:

That background is the 2nd pull off my gelli plate from the card I showed yesterday using Theresa's set and didnt want to waste it.  I took one of the egg patterns (the one that reminds me of Charlie Brown!)  and made the little chick a cracked egg 'suit'.  The eggs in the basket are colored with Tonic Studios Nuvo drops...they are so neat looking IRL, love the effect it gave the eggs, just couldnt capture it on the camera darn it!

And next is the new Incentive stamp Vintage Rose.

How gorgeous are these roses?  Here is what I have done for today with this set:

I stamped the image onto toner paper and then colored it with Prism Premier pencils, trying for a sketchy look, as I call it.  I used my coffee cup and versamark ink to make the circle cup stains and a big ole tulle bow.   And one more, this one in memory of my Mama, who's favorite song was 'Yellow Rose of Texas' because that is what my Daddy called, her...His Yellow Rose from Texas...Thought I'd share that bit of their 'love story' today on Valentine's Day with you!  Sadly, they are not here on this old earth with me now, but I know they are celebrating this day of love in the best place ever!

and again, I stamped this image onto toner paper and also colored with the pencils.  I added a gold bee  and bow charm from my box of metal stuffs.

And one more I wanted to show you!  Almost forgot!  This also combines Claires set but this time with one of the coloring panel pages  that you can foil too.  I foiled it then just cut the butterfly out:

and close up of the shiny butterfly!

OK!  now, that IS all for today!  :D  Thanks so very much for hopping with us for this release!   I am so thrilled to read all of your comments!  They mean the world to me!

Gina K Designs February 2017 Release Inspiration Blog Hop--Day 1!!

Hey Y'all!! Welcome to our Inspiration Blog Hop for the February '17 Release!!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamp release for February by our illustrator team! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring the stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger and Theresa Momber.

These stamp sets are so fun and versatile! You will be able to create amazing card projects using each individual set or by combining the images and sentiments from multiple sets from this release. Have fun and be creative!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

Today, we are showcasing two stamp sets for you!  First up is Melanie Meunchinger's set, Fabulous Flowers and it is indeed!

Here is what I have done for today:

For this card I used GKD kraft and lipstick cardstock and ink.  The heart is a die cut and then I stamped the leaves and roses and did some fussy cutting and blues them onto the die cut.  I made a matching envelope too!  (Hoping this helps me to mail out more cards this year, lol!)  Here is another one I made:

For this card I just stamped the outline part of the sunflower and then the solid piece, but I did not worry about lining it up perfect or anything, gives it a little 'artistic' touch, lol!  Even though this is intended to be a 'so sorry' card, I made it bright and 'sunny' hoping to brighten someones day!  :D

Ok, up next is Theresa Momber's new set, Framescape - Simply Spring.

Arent these Framescapes by Theresa just AWEsome!?!  Oh so much fun too!  Here is what I have done with this set:

For this card, I used a Gelli Plate for making the background, which is loads of fun too!  I kept the blue up top and the green on bottom so it would kinda resemble a grassy meadow and blue skys.  I then stamped in black ink and added clear embossing powder and heat set the black ink. The balloons are colored with copics and I stamped them all over with the versamark ink pad and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder too. I sponged in the clouds with a small dauber dipped in white paint.  I then added photo corners to make it look like a photo..sorta...LOL!  Here is one I did to show you dont have to use the frame part each time.

For this card, I did a bit of watercoloring using the Kuretake Clean Color Waterbrush markers.  I first colored on the stamp with the green color and brown of the trunk of the tree.  Which when stamped, doesnt look like much!  BUT. take a bit of water on your paint brush and smear it around to the edges of the stamped image, which was visible for me.  I think just swooshed some brown and green on the ground and very faintly some blue for the sky area.   I love how this turned out and its Billy's pick of the release!  :D  And One more using the tree and watercolor:

Same way of coloring the tree and on this one I did the tulips like that too.  Happy Easter!  :D
