Gina K Design August Release Previews, Day 2!!

Welcome back to day 2 of our previews for this month! And we have more awesome eye candy for you tonight too! ANOTHER 3 stamp sets! Up first I have the newest by Theresa Momber called Farm Life....and I think Theresa was looking out my back door for this stamp set, lol! here is my fun card I did for tonight:



I could not resist taking the cow, who I affectionately call Bessie, from the Gina K Design stamp set 'Down on the Farm' and stick her in the pasture!! LOL! I am sure you will see some awesome scenes with this set tonight, so went a bit different! Bessie may not look real happy, but she actually is, now she has a pasture to graze in! ;)
Next up is Tami Mayberry's newest set called Faithful Florals...one of the first things about this set to me were the quotes in it...LOVE them! Here is one I used for tonight:



I stamped the sentiment and then just stamped one of the floral images to the side and added just a bit of flower soft to it, tad of sponging and basically was done! I think this card would boost somebody's spirits a bit! :)
OK, last but not least is the newest by Asela Hopkins called Boo!...yep, Halloween is coming! Here is my creation with this set:



I always have so much fun making Halloween cards, and I did with this one too! Made the bat 'dp' with images from the set also...love this little sentiment...'ghoulfriend'...haha! too cute! Ok, on to more eye candy!!

Gina K Design August Release Previews, Day 1!!!

Wooohoooooo!! It's FINALLY here! The August release for GKD! Whew! That was a LONG time to go without a GKD new stamp fix wasnt it? LOL! We have THREE new stamp sets to preview tonight, so I'll keep my yacking down a bit, haha! Up first tonight is Melanie Muenchinger's newest set called Wild at Heart....and yes Mel is! LOL! here is what I did with it:



As you will see, Its a LARGE stamp, but I cut mine down like this, and before cutting it down, I sponged some distress inks all over it, to give it some variance in colors. It reminds me of that foil scratch paper in the kids section at Hobby Lobby!

Up next is two stamp sets by Nina Brackett and the first one I am showing you is called Grand Damask...here is my creation:



I decided to make a tag with is, using the emboss resist technique. I also used distress inks on this too, and a sentiment from Mel's new set too on this one! Just love how all of the stamp sets can be used together!

Next is Nina's newest called Fanciful Tags And it matches the Fanciful Tags from Spellbinders...how fun is THAT!?!! Here though, I decided to show you that you do not HAVE to use the dies!!



I stamped the tag image, with a sentiment that fits perfectly inside, then just added a touch of color and cut it out. Love how this looks too!

I'm still here! Just taking a bit of a break from my crafting. Well, sorta, still been playing around making a few cards, but none I am really like for some reason, LOL! Ever do that? make a card then think...what was I thinking?? here is one I just did like that, lol!

Im just not sure I like it yet, haha! i was thinking about sending a card to my sister and ended up with this....oh well, she will still say she loves it, she knows to do that, rofl!!

I know ya'll probably tired of hearing it and want to just say...get over it! it's summer! But it is FREAKING HOT!!!!!! LOL! Everytime I step outside, for any length of time it just zaps all energy and creative juices in me! BUT, new Gina K Designs stamps should be arriving to me next week, then the previews start on Sunday the 22nd...cant wait!! I missed having that smell of new rubber this month, lol! Ok, hope to see you then if not before!!

Blast from the Past, day 2!!

Welcome back to day 2 of our Blast From the Past hop this month! I have really enjoyed digging out alot of my older sets! They never go out of style to me! First up tonight is Theresa Momber...and I used her Autumn Beauty set...yes! I'm still dreaming of Fall ya'll! LOL! Here is my card:



...love LOVE this sunflower! so much fun to color and create with it. They are one of my favorite flowers and right now, seeing alot of them around! The neighbors have some about 10 ft tall!

Up next is Rupa Shevde....and I decided to use her classic Thinking of You...this set will NEVER go out of style! Here is my CAS card with it:



This card took me about 20 minutes to make, and that includes the thinking process, lol! Hope you dont mind my CAS cards lately...having some shoulder problems and I go next week to get shots in it...have had it before and the shots do help, at least for awhile!

Blast from the Past, GKD style!

Howdy all! Welcome to our little hop that we love to call 'Blast From the Past'! We get to showcase some of the older Gina K Design stamps this week! Cant wait to share all the designers awesome goodness! I got a few done too, lol! For tonight, we are using sets by Melanie Muenchinger and Nina Brackett. Fall time is my favorite time of year, and Im already wishing it was here, soooo hot right now! I just love it when it finally cools off, and then when the leaves start to change, BEAUTIful time of year and Mel's set lets me get to showcase that!

I love how Nina's sets you can go very simple to however detailed you want! And anywhere in between! lol! I went a bit simple on this one, it will be easy mailing to a friend of mine.
