Plus, the “Handmade by” stamp is wonderful to add your own personal touch! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate from Gina K Designs!  woohoo!!  To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

For today's hop, Ive made a card or two to share with ya.  First one:

I stamped 3 of the images onto some canvas ribbon I had with some stayz on ink.  Than threw together the little middle doodad thingy to stick on there.  Pretty easy!  And then this one:

I used some scrabble tiles, stamped on the back of them with stayz on ink too and added a square epoxy piece onto them.  The 'beautiful' is a TH die.  AND one more I'll show, lol!

And this one is my favorire!  I used some black inchies and stamped this image onto, and heat embossed it.  Used a piece of fun wire to wrap around it and hold the charm that says...'Bless Your Heart'...which is dedicated to Karen and Gina!  haha!  Being from Texas...I need one that says 'Well, Bless Your Little Pea Picking Heart!'  LOL!!  But this is close enough!  :D

Gina K Designs Inspiration Blog Hop for February 2016 Release! Day 1!

Hey y'all!! Glad to see ya!

Day One

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamps from the February Release Party. We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Today, we are featuring the new stamp set “Year of Flowers 3” by Melanie Muenchinger and the “Birds & Blossoms 2” set Theresa Momber. Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies!!!  To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

Up first today Is Melanie's new set, "A Year Of Flowers 3"

I have made several with this set, and still have so many to put all together!  Here is wha I have for today:

I first made the background by stamping the flowers and leave all over a piece of cardstock.  Then after stamping, and I bleached the flowers, I cut the cardstock piece into a bunch of inchies!  For this card, I took the inchies and embossed them with UTEE to get a tiled look.  Edges were distressed with Vintage Photo distress ink also. Super fun technique to do!  :D  And then, since I had leftovers from this card, I made TWO more!  Here they are:

I used up all of my scraps, go me!  LOL!

Next up is Theresa's new set, Birds and Blossoms 2.

And we are totally THRILLED T is back!  :D Here is my first card with this set:

Last week my fellow DT, Karen, did the Bokeh technique for Funday Friday, and I HAD to try this one!  It is very fun, and addicting!  LOL!  I have one more card with this technique I will be showing tomorrow.

Here is another card I made with T's set:

I used that big and little cherry blossom flowers to stamp the background, using white ink, and then colored and cut out two of the flowers.  The 'happy' in the heart is actuall a Heidi Swapp mini stencil.  Did a bit of distressing on the edges with the TH embossing tool too.

I truly am having a blast working with this little set!  Some think the set is little, and you wont get much use from it..but I am here to testify that this set is not like that at all!!  :D

Up first, I have for you Billy's Pick of the Hop!

I used the designer papers from the New StampTV kit, Made With Love ( totally awesome!)  And fussy cut the coffee cups to pop them up.  I like that look, which you will probably notice!  :D  Billy and me agree on a favorite this time!

Up next is A close 2nd for favorite for me:

Had to get a bit of distressing on at least one card!  :D  I used the Spectrum Glitter Markers and just scribbled the background after stamping the coffee cup and embossing it with clear embossing powder.  The marker will kinda settle into the little areas to make the flowers show up when you wipe off that part!  Then used a stencil to make the coffee stains...how could I NOT use this stencil for this set?  (tim holtz stencil).

A few  things about our incentive stamps.  now they will be changing every two weeks!  Lots of asked for that and Gina did it!  Once the current incentive is done...you will be able to purchase it also.  Im loving this new incentive plan myself!

I truly think this is my most favorite of all of the kits!  Totally flooded with ideas in my old brain!  I have like 5 halfway finished cards done...because I know if I dont start, right when I get the thought, ill forget it, haha!  Ok, so...I always ask Billy (hubby) to pick his favorite and this is the one he picked:

AND I admit, its my favorite one Ive done for this release too!  :D  It has a clear overlay on it, that the tree and sentiment is stamped on.  I do have plans to show How I made the 'fence' on this too.  The moon is made by making a circle die cut, then taking a marker (I used Copics W1 and W2) and just scribble on different areas.  Then I took the Spectrum clear glitter marker and swished it all over.  It looks sooo cool IRL!

Here is another super quick one I have made:
I CAS card ...I also used the Spectrum Glitter markers on this one and then fussy cut it.  I did the dry embossing and then just put the flower in middle of it, ta-da!  I gave this to Billy on our anniversary the other day.  (our 33rd :D)

OK!  Ready for more eye candy?!  Just follow the links below!!

Thank you for stopping by! Don’t forget to stop by the Gina K Designs Store to purchase this awesome STV kit  at http://www.ginakdesigns.com.
