Up today, we have two sets illustrated by Gina K.  These sets she used in the Bella Craft Event that she taught a few classes at.  First one is from the Wild Blossoms set:

For this card, I stamped and heat embossed the red image to make it pop more.  LOVE this solid stamp!  So fun to be able to stamp onto DP with!

Next up is from the set, You've Got A Friend In Me:

I made a CAS card for this set.  Those trees look good colored, or even paper piecing...I dotted mine with copic markers to give it a fall look.  :D

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?  Just follow these links!

Gina K Designs September Release Inspiration Blog Hop! Day 2

Hi Y'all!  Glad you are stopping by!  :D

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for  our September Release!  Boy, do we have some treats for you this month!  We hope to inspire you with some eye candy as you hop along in the hop this month!  Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies! !!   To see who won,  check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

First up today is Beth Silaika's  newest set, This and That.  Here is what I have for today:

I just stamped a few of the words and then just cut them out.  This goes to a very special friend of mine...one of those that it doesnt matter how long its been since you have seen each other, you can pick up right where you left off when you do see them!  :D  I feel so blessed to have a friend like that and so gonna tell her!  :D  and the words in this set worked for this!   Here is the card I showed at the release party :
I was going for a collage/subway art type of thing, lol!  Dont know if I succeeded with that, but I like how it turned out!  :D

Up next is a set from Gina K that she used in her classes at that Bella Craft event way up north up there, (I forgot where! haha!)  Here is my card for today with this set:

For this card I used some tissue paper for my DP.  I also heat embossed the stamping.  I like the images to really pop with color sometimes and this is a good way to do that.  If you use black embossing powder it really does make it look black black!    I also made the yellow flower there...not sure about leaving it on there but its there for now!  :D

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?  Here ya go!

Gina K Designs September Release Inspiration Blog Hop!! Day 1!

Hey y'all! Glad you stopped by today!

Up first today is Melanie's  newest set, Triple Play Holiday.  And as Usual, its jam packed full of awesome stampy goodness!  Here is what I have for today:

I made the background first on this card using Brushos (LOVE playing with those!)  and it reminded me of Halloween, so I used the little pumpkins in the set!  I put googly eyes on one of them.  I think this one will go to Blake, my grandson!  :D
And then, since I didnt want to waste any of that background, I made this card: (Which I showed at the party last night)

It does not want its picture taken...lol!  the colors giving me fits!  But that daisy section is the party I cut out of the other card, where the pumpkins are.

Next up is  Theresa's   set called Vine and Butterfly.  Here is my card for today:

I stamped the vine and embossed it with white embossing powders and then stamped the butterflies in Dusty Rose and also embossed those.  Did some sponging around the edges trying to soften it a bit.  LOVE this set too, so much to do with it...my head goes nuts thinking of the ideas, lol!

There's this wet stuff....

Hey y'all!! I believe that stuff is called RAIN!  and weatherman talking about a cold front...YAY!  so ready for Fall!!

So, with Fall on my mind, I made this:

I used brushos on this.  And the new StampTV kit, Autumn Wishes from Gina K Designs.  Totally this kit AND so love these powders of color!  You just add water!  I like seeing the little spots of color myself.  Adds character to it, IMO.  And you never know whatcha gonna get, just like a box of chocolates, hahaha! Same with me, never know what you gonna get, lol!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope I inspired you to see all of the beauty out in this world...I know its getting harder and harder to find, but its worth the search for it!  Listen to me trying to be oh so....i cant even think of the word I want, ha!
