Wha...?? February??

I cannot believe it's February already!  Wow!  Time sure flying this year already....

I miss hard back books...LOL!  I thought I'd throw that out there.  But I do, I miss holding a BOOK in my hands, flipping the pages, FEELING the pages...now, dont get me wrong, I think the Kindle, and Nook and all are awesome ideas and come in handy.  I see all of the good points about them..(save a tree and all that too!)  BUT...I think im going to go out and buy me a hardback book!  :D...

I did a quick birthday card:

This uses the new StampTV kit Birthday Essentials .  Not sure if I like it with the big polka dotted bow now that I look at it..LOL!  Might have to take that off!! Super easy thought.  I embossed a metal sheet, also embossed gold for the presents and the 'Let's Party' round piece.  Colored with Spectrum Noirs in a whimsical way, as I call it that is!

Well, that's all for right now!  Hope you have a wonderfully creative week!

card details:
Stamps:  Birthday Essentials StampTV kit from ginakdesigns.com
papers:  GKD cardstock, shiny metallic by Paper Studios
Accessories:  swirl embossing folder, gold embossing powder, versamark, precut bow, oval die cut from Gink K,  SB scalloped nesties oval, mini clothes pin, pop dots.

I love your cute birthday card. I did some cards with the new kit too, but have not posted any. I sure like the great cheery colors on yours and that awesome polka dot ribbon bow. And, yes, time goes by way too fast!

Wowzer, that bow is spectacular! The whole card is, but the bow is a dazzler! Yep books are so great. That is why my DH says the ceiling is going to cave in from the attic.
