Gina K Designs September Release Inspiration Blog Hop! Day 2

Hi Y'all!  Glad you are stopping by!  :D

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for  our September Release!  Boy, do we have some treats for you this month!  We hope to inspire you with some eye candy as you hop along in the hop this month!  Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies! !!   To see who won,  check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

First up today is Beth Silaika's  newest set, This and That.  Here is what I have for today:

I just stamped a few of the words and then just cut them out.  This goes to a very special friend of mine...one of those that it doesnt matter how long its been since you have seen each other, you can pick up right where you left off when you do see them!  :D  I feel so blessed to have a friend like that and so gonna tell her!  :D  and the words in this set worked for this!   Here is the card I showed at the release party :
I was going for a collage/subway art type of thing, lol!  Dont know if I succeeded with that, but I like how it turned out!  :D

Up next is a set from Gina K that she used in her classes at that Bella Craft event way up north up there, (I forgot where! haha!)  Here is my card for today with this set:

For this card I used some tissue paper for my DP.  I also heat embossed the stamping.  I like the images to really pop with color sometimes and this is a good way to do that.  If you use black embossing powder it really does make it look black black!    I also made the yellow flower there...not sure about leaving it on there but its there for now!  :D

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?  Here ya go!

Hey, Cat - these cards are gorgeous. I especially LOVE your 'word' card and your idea to cut them out and then attach them to the card to make them stand out. Yes, friends like this are a blessing:)

I am loving all you did with these sets. Now I hope this comment appears as I always get an email where the message has been rejected. But maybe that is the norm for your blog.
