Up first for today I have Beth and her newest set, Todd Turtle.  (Dont you think its awesome how Beth names the sets she does after a family member!:  LOL)

For Todd, I created him a little home, lol!  I first created the background and did that with water color and then the sand is sandpaper.  I used a die for the seaweed and then colored the images with pencils  I also made is shell really shiny!  Here is a close up of that:

He is just too cute!  There are more images in the set, but I just feel in love with Todd!  :D

Ok, next up is Claire's newest set, Perfect Poinsettia.  And its a triple stamping images but I only used the outling image and the solid one:
I made the background with some Christmas themed tissue paper that I had saved from last year, glued it onto cardstock and then swiped it here and there with some metallic paste .  I made the poinsettia out of vellum...embossed it with gold then used a stylus on it to turn it white (2x) I took the solid image and embossed it with gold and then layered them all.  Then made the gold frame with a die and also the sentiment circle.  I also layered onto gold cardstock.  It sounds complicated, but its not really.  :D
Next I wanted to show you the new incentive stamp set Nuturing Blooms

Here is my card:

I made it really rustic, thinking male card, which to lots of us is so hard to do, lol!  I created the middle panel by using some paper that has the consistency or a brown paper bag (the name escaped me now and im being lazy and not going to find it, LOL) The 'journey' is an embossing folder by Tim Holtz.  I tore the edges, stamped the incentives on it then used  washi tape.  I also ties some surgeon knots onto the piece of string I used.  I stamped the sentiment, cut out with a die then sponged the edges of it.  I had fun playing with this one, LOL!  And thats what is about, right?  :D

Love that turtle and the card. He is super cute with the shell all glossy. Love the star and the home you gave the turtle. Your poinsettia card is beautiful! The gold is popping and making such a gorgeous card. I really like your journey card. Your know tying, surgeon knots, adds such a spectacular manly element. I need to learn knot tying.
