Hey Y'all!!
Welcome to another wonderful year of Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember!! Which if you didnt know is a whole month dedicated to stamping! yay! :D This is the 10th year for SSS doing this, how fun! And all month there will be collaborations with several different stamp companies and today is the day for Gina K. Designs!
This year Gina's set is called Festive Flower.
Oh my!! It is that indeed! Here is what I have done with this big gorgeous poinsettia!
I decided to leave it just white, but I heat embossed with gold glitter! I then also heat embossed the extra elements and did a BUNCH of fussing cutting cause I didnt have the dies atm,
lol! But thats something I enjoy doing for some strange reason! I actually stamped the flower 3 times, and heat embossed and then cut out different sections of the flower to create the layers of it. Leaves and little stems of floral things I also cut out and layers around the flower along with some gold twine. The Merry Christmas is stamped and heat embossed with the gold glitter also on vellum. This is a 51/2 x 51/2 square card so Ill have to make a special envelope or do a hand deliver with this one, but it will be worth it to the person that receives it I think!
Ok, thats all for this set from me today! Lots of my fellow GKD DT are also showcasing this set along with the SSS DT too. If you click to go to Simon Says Stamp and then click 'Collaboration of the Day' you will see Gina K. Designs for today!

To stir that creative soul that lives in every single person! :D Up today, we have the brand new Card kit, which is HUGE and another new stamp set AND new incentive! And as usual, be sure to leave your comments on all the blogs to increase your chances to win one of the $50 gift certificates that Gina is giving away, one for each day! (and just to clarify, you do not HAVE to leave a comment on each blog, but it will increase you odds of winning, right?! plus you dont want to miss the gorgeous eye candy, lol!) The winners will be announced a few days after the blog hops end!
You should have came from ohsoawesome Emily Loggans Blog. and if not, you can always go back to beginning to Gina's Blog!
Ok, up first today we have Hannah's newest set, Main Squeeze. AND matching Main Squeeze Dies!
Here is my card for today:
For this card I used those awesome new Neon inks and made the rainbow strip by masking off a section of the white cardstock. I also used the same colors in the watermelon slice. Now the little seeds, match the strawberry, but with a little ink wiping off you can make it fit to make a watermelon slice like this! Although nowadays, they have seedless watermelons but it just needed those black seeds that will grow in your belly if you swallow to make it look right! haha! (was anybody else told that as a kid when eating watermelon?!) SUPER easy card with alot of POP! And I also had to make this card:
Those slices just reminded me of the candy slices covered with sugar! I saw candy not fruit! (says the fat girl, haha!) I used Glitz Glitter Gel in white to create my 'sugar' These make me want to go get some lol!
Ok, next up is the AWEsome Card kit, Pop-Art Flowers
Do you see all of the goodies in this kit? wow!!! THREE stamp sets, matching dies, stencil, and a layering guide for folks like me! :D here is the complete list:
This kit includes:
And here are my cards I created with this kit:
For this card I used the Neon inks, again (can you tell im loving them? LOL) and used the ink cube to make the little square shapes after spritzing the cardstock with some resist spray. I die cut the flowers and then just inked the edges with color. These look very 'pop-art-ish' to me, lol! Next one is combined with Melanie's Perfect pallet set:
The flowers are colored with prisma pencils. And I also flicked on some acrylic paint with a toothbrush, black and white acrylic paint. They are very small, and cant really see it too much in this picture. 'water droplets' are added here in there with Crystalline Drops.
And one more, and I also used Melanie's Perfect Pallet set!
I used the pallet boards to create a frame then stamped and cut out the roses. Please ignore my choices of colors of inks i used on the roses, lol! after they dried, its like the color changes and I remembered afterwards that the distress oxide inks will do this after drying! BUT, I love how this turned out, kinda soft and rustic all at the same time, lol!
next, I wanted to show you the brand new Incentive stamp set, Layered Eucalyptus
And my card:
I created the background using the stripes stencil that is in the new card kit and also did some paint splattering on this too. Used a die to create the angled edge and also the oval sentiment. LOVE this little incentive set!
Ok, thats all from me for today! Up next on the blog hop is the Uberly talented

Gina K. Designs July 2019 Inspiration Blog Hop, day 1!!
Hey Y'all! So glad to see you here today!
Welcome to our July release blog hop loaded with what we hope is inspiration for you! And this release has soooo very much in it!! I cant wait to share it all! We will be showcasing 3 of the new sets today and then tomorrow we will have the new kit and another set, plus some other goodies here and there like, new stencils, new NEON ink....YAY! And as always, be sure to comment on each blog for your chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Gina K. Designs! One winner from each day will be drawn and Gina will announce that a few days after the blog hops! Ok, lets get rolling!
You should have came from the oh so awesome Donna Idlet's blog
So up first today Is Melanie's New set, Perfect Pallet
And here is what I did with this card for today:
I made a hanging sign like, or tired, lol! I roughed up the edges to make the wood look more 'real and then just used jump rings to attach each piece that I cut out. This was super quick card! I have so many ideas in my head for this set, lol! Not enough time in the day! Ive combined it with several other sets too, but will how the next set first, which issssssssss................
Lisa Hetrick's new set, Your Wings
And here is a card I made with this:
For this card I used the leave elements to create the butterfly wings! how fun is that? Inks are the distress oxide inks and the new Gina K. Designs Amalgam ink Obsidian which is the blackest black i have ever used! I am so in love with it! That sentiment on vellum? stamped ONCE with it and then i poured clear embossing powder over it to heat set. LOVE! Most black look like translucent almost. Here is one I made with this set again:
For this one, I watercolored on some papers, just throwing colors around is all I was doing and tehn after it dried I samped the butterfly. I cut it out and popped it up. I also made the background and used the new Funky Flourish Stencil
Ok, now here are a card that I have combined using these sets:
I used Picket Fence distress oxide ink to stamp the 'board' first then using gathered twigs oxide ink for the lines. I used the brown paper, like recycled paper to first stamp on. I LOVE how this turned out! Then the other inks are our brand spanking new Neon Inks
These are available in set of 8 or individually in its regular size.
Last but not lease by far we have Beth Saliaka's new set Beautiful Balloons and it has a little matching die! yay! :D Beautiful Balloons Die
Most of my friends are at the 'over the hill' age so I made a card for that! black and silver and white! I heat embossed the balloons in silver and black so they would be all shiny like a real balloon. Added some staples for accents, you know, like us old ones need staples to hold us together sometimes, hahaha! And I also made a long skinny card! I showed this on our FB group. It fits in a business size envelope. Make them think they are getting a bill and surprise! its a beautiful card! haha!
I just sponged the clouds by using a cloud die cut ive had for ages, also the hills and grass and the little clouds were die cuts too. This is Billy's favorite!
Ok! Well, Im it! That last on the hop! I sure hope we have inspired you in some way today! You can always email me and show me what you create if I have inspired you in any way! :D Dont forget! come on back by tomorrow too!! See ya then!!

Happy 45th birthday to Hero Arts!
Hey y'all! I just wanted to hop on and share a brand new stamp set being released by Hero Arts today in celebration of their 45th birthday year! How awesome is that? And this stamp set? Its awesome too! Its called, Friendship Blooms and the artwork is by one of Gina K. Designs illustrators, Hannah! It will be available through Hero Arts today, as today is its release date! :D Here are a couple of cards I made with this lovely set:
This first one is heat embossed in red glitter embossing powder and was inspired by the old timey 'red work' in embroidery that used to be WAY back in the day used alot. Well, my grandmother did awesome work with it and the florals reminded me of one I saw her do ages ago! I wish I had the piece! It was on a pillow case. These flowers are so gorgeous, you dont have to be one of the goddesses of coloring to make a wonderful creation with them! Here is another I did:
Now this one is my favorite. I used watercolors and sparkly stuff to paint on some canvas paper. First I heat embossed the image with brass band embossing powder from Gina K. Designs and then did the water coloring. this is so sparkly and gorgeous IRL! And see, not colored very good! LOL! I know lots of my fellow DT will be sharing creations with you also, I have a blog roll of them over on the right, you can click on their names and it should take you to their blogs too!
Ok, that's all from me for now! Just wanted to share this and also Ill be back next Wednesday and Thursday for our Gina K. Designs July Release blog hops! BOY oh boy do we have alot of goodies to share with ya!!!
Come on back now y'all here?

Gina K. Designs and InkOn3 Collaboration Blog Hop!
Howdy Y'all!!
Welcome to a little blog hop that we have come together to bring you with the two companies above! I love doing these collab blog hops because most of the time I get to try out some new products and get to know a new company! And for this blog hop, both companies will be giving away a gift certificate for $50! One winner from each company, so two winners! How fun is that!? Ok, first, you should have came from the awesome Ricky's Blog:
Bromero Cards/Ricky Burton-Romero's Blog!
Next, on with the show, or uh, MY cards! :D
WELLLL, let me just say, I was in a collage style mood, as you will see, lol! For this card I used the Stamp set and matching dies, Bad and Boujee Stamp set along with the coordinating die set, Bad and Boujee coordinating dies.
Here is my first card:
I also used the Liquid Pixie Dust, LOVE this stuff! And something to remember, just a little dab will do ya! lol! I colored the flowers and perfume with watercolors then added the pixie dust, it soooo sparkweeeee!!! I also used a Gina K. Design stencil before layering the perfume and flower and its called Art Deco Stencil. Next card:
See what I mean about collage style? LOL! For this card I combined the Ink on 3 Bad and Boujee stamp set and Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms stamp set and Vibrant Blooms Coordinating Die set. I've used distress oxide inks for the coloring and the flowers were also heat embossed with Gina K.'d copper embossing powders. The diamonds are heat embossed with silver and also colored with sparkly liquid pixie dust( did I mention I love this stuff? LOL) AND THEN, i decided to do a set of thank you cards, collage style, they vary just a bit, but basically are the same:
Again, I've used the same combining of stamp sets, but a different stencil this time, its called Thick Brush Stencil. I stamped the flowers in Gina K. inks and then splattered as I did the brown flowers above, but only used black paint instead of black and white. I heat embossed the diamond and perfume bottle also. Then doodled some lines on them also. I'll have the cards individually below also. Needless to say, I had so much fun with Ink on 3's goodies and combining with Gina K.'s stuffs!
Your next hop will be my fellow DT from Gina K. Designs and most awesome saucey gal:
Mindy Eggen's Blog!!
I hope you have enjoyed our blog hop! Dont forget to leave those comments for your chances to win the prizes! Plus, we love reading them!! Thanks soooo much! See ya soon!
