Up first today for you I have Beth's new set, Ian Moose!  He is definitely one of the cutest mooses (Meese?) out there!  Here are a couple of cards I made with this set:
I used some water color pencils to make the background.  I had first stamped the tree, then masked it to do the water coloring.  I then doodled lines around my square shape of watercoloring.  Ian is fussy cut and popped up there on the corner! The ornaments hanging from the sentiment were stamped then filled in with those tonic Nuvo crystal drops.  And since I already had these supplies out, I also made another similiar style to this one:
Basically same thing, just added some extra sparkle by using Spectrum Sparkle Markers.

Next are Claire's sets...

First I did this one...was going for a 'crazy quilt' look!  :D
I used Claire's Noel set. The 'stitches are made using the ribbon die template.  I like how they turned out!  :D

This set uses a bunch of the new sets, but the main image creating a frame of the snowy scene is from Claire's Festive Foliage set.  It is stamped onto acetate with stayzon ink then heat embossed...I love the effect this gives this card, like you are peeping out a window and spy that deer!  :D  Also used on this  card was Theresa's set, Dashing, and Christmas Greenery by Gina.  I used some white acrylic paint, and green too on the trees.  And the rest is done with inks and my fingers, lol!

Up first today from is  this super fun set by Melanie!  Here is one card I made with this set:

I created a fun little scene like a snow globe!  This set I know just SCREAMS for you to do a snowglobe, lol!  BUT, that's not all you can do with this set, you will see on my fellow DT blogs too!

Next up is Theresa's Dashing set:
And here is one I have made with this set:

I love to throw in a color that is not the traditional  red/green/gold colors for Christmas.  And pink is a favorite of mine to use for that!  I heat embossed the poinsettias in white and then colored with copics and then added some sparkle using a Spectrum Noir sparkle marker.  The snowflakes and distressed frame around the main image also has some heat embossing in white too.

That's all from me for today!  But just follow the links below for some awesome eye candy from my fellow DT!!

We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring a  stamp set from the kit and the new ‘Tis the Sea-Sun stamp set.

“It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas” around Gina K Designs! Gina K and the illustrator team have been extremely busy preparing the most fun stamp sets with a variety of images and sentiments to make so many incredible cards and holiday projects!

Tis the Sea-Sun! stamp set and

STV kit LOADED with goodies...Plus all you see here! Home for the Holidays!  Oh the fun you can have with this set! :D

Here are my cards using these sets:

First up is one using one of the kit stamp sets:

This set also uses the new incentive stamp (Merry Christmas).  I used the musical bg stamp to create my background!  :D  The trees were created by using some banner dies and star punch.  I created the background by heat embossing the music stamp in white and then swished over it with a glitter pen in the turquiose color for some sparkle.  The Merry Christmas is heat embossed in gold on vellum.

I also made this card:

I had to let the little fairy flutter around a bit!  :D   She is sprinkling Christmas wishes around for all!  :D  She's my little peppermint fairy!    I colored her with copic markers and she also had some glitter pen swished on her, mainly her wings.  I so love the designer paper in this set too!  I guess i'm getting better...I dont like freak out when I would try to use designer paper like I used to, lol!

Up next is the oh so adorable little penguin set, 'Tis The Sea-Sun'.

Arent they too cute?!  This card is a backward easel card.  It will prop up and look awesome on some one's mantel!  :D  This is how it looks laying flat and then:

...this is how it looks as the easel.  Fun set for sure!

Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy from my fellow DT?  Here ya go!

Cat played in a challenge! :D

Hey y'all!!  Yes!  I played along in the Color Throw Down Challenge for this week:

I SOOOOoo love these colors together!  And I saw my fellow Gina K DT gal, Susie, and  her card inspired me to go have a look on the CTD blog....and since I just loved the colors, had to play!

I busted out the Gelli Plates for this card, its been a long time since I did some true mixed media.

This was alot of fun to make!  I just love the Gelli plates too.  I was doing a technique using package tape (card with that later on!)  and this piece of cardstock is what I would roll my brayer off on to remove some of the paint!  It was so pretty had to use it too, lol!  I stamped the big vine from Theresa Momber's Vine and Butterfly Stamp set and heat embossed it.  I do this when stamping over acrylic paint, heat emboss, so it wont smear.  I used a stylus to add some dots here and there...painted the daisy with the same acrylic paint and stamped the sentiment on some Washi paper and then tore it instead of cutting.  who needs scissors..right?  haha!  I distressed the edges with my new Tonic distress tool (omg I love this thing!!) Attached the daisy and sentiment using pop dots.  Did some layering and ta da!  all done!

Thanks for the fun challenge ladies!  I think it has been like years since I played along in a challenge!  LOL!  I enjoy them, dont know why I quit doing them...oh well, gonna try to keep that up!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  It's suppose to be cooler here and I cant wait!  I love to go camping when it first cools off, before its too cold for Billy! haha!  I dont think it can get too cold for me!  LOL!

Gina K Designs August Release...StampTV kit, Painted Autumn Inspirational Blog Hop, Day 2!

Howdy Y'all!  Glad you stopped back by!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new Painted Autumn StampTV Kit! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs! Today, we are featuring the second set in the Painted Autumn StampTV Kit.

Today’s set, we are featuring Give Thanks. In this set, you will find fun and cuddly critters, acorn, leaves and fun sentiments to make the most adorable card projects!  There are so many possibilities with these sets!

Up first with this set I have this card:

I took some air dry clay and rolled it pretty flat then used the leave stamp to make the impressions.  This doesnt hurt the stamps, I always just wash really quick with mild soap and water and they have been fine over the years!  :D   I then painted with Spectrum glitter brushes (loving those!)  And the little pieces hanging..I never throw any broken jewelry away and those are from some broken pieces!  And then this card:

I stamped the circle image, then used that as a guideline to stamp the leaves to make it look like a wreath.  This was super quick and I almost didnt use it, but my fellow DT and friend told me to! :D  I did a bit of distressing and sponging on the edges.  I punched two holes to tie my bow and all done!

And here is a card I have to show ya, it used the new incentive stamp set, More Massive Messages that is the new Incentive this time around...I have to show it  because its Billy's pick of the Release!  :D  AND  to tell you to stop back on Thursday for a fun Blog candy Ill be doing!  :D

I used some distress inks on this...like watercoloring.  Added water and then just swooshed them on.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then carefully outlined it with a micro pen.Love how it turned out!

Ok, thats all from me for now!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.
