Gina K. Designs September 2018 Inspiration Blog Hop, Day 3!!!

Hey Y'all!  Happy to see you!

Welcome to our final day for this months release!  And we are going out with a bang so to speak, lol!  It's the new StampTV Kit, Fruit of the Season!  Its sooo awesome!  I am in LOVE with the snowflakes!  Ive never had any that I am this crazy about, lol!  Ok, Enough babbling! BUT, one more thing, be sure to leave your comments on all the blogs!  We will have a $50 gift certificate winner from each day!  Three total!  ...ok, NOW on the the show!

These sets are so awesome, truly!  You get so much for your money!  First, showing you the card I showed at the release party:

For this card I heat embossed the big snowflake image in white.  I then used the brand new snowflake background stamp Delicate Snowflakes (sold out atm!, so sorry!)  and heat embossed it with clear.  I then used distress crayons and my finger haha!  It makes the best paintbrush!  This is a Billy's pick of the release!  :D  Thats one reason showing this again!  Ok, now, more snowflakes!

For this card I cut out a tree shape with a die ive had like forever (no clue where I got it from either lol) and then I used the throw away part to create a mask.  I then stamped the snowflakes in gold, silver and white...sponged the eges after laying the die back over the tree.  I stuck some little red rhinestones and another snowflake charm for the tree topper!  I was actually inspired by some ribbon I saw at hobby Lobby i believe it was!  who would have thought black could be used for Christmas?  :D  ok, one more snowflake card:

This one is basically along the same lines as the first one I shared with you, white embossed big snowflake, then the background snowflake stamp used but not with versamark, i used Powder Blue ink on Powder Blue cardstock.  I used another snowflake charm there too!  Since I work making lots of jewelry, i love being able to add some elements to my card creations like this!  Ok, ONE last card:

LOVE the partridge in a pear tree!  I also used the Music Medley background stamp.  I scribbled the distress crayons then spritz it with water and let it just sit there.  All of the other images were watercolored too...which I am NOT very good at! ha!  still enjoy playing with it and thats what matters right?

ok, ready from some awesome eye candy I'm sure!  Just follow the links below!

thanks so much for letting us share this release with you!  We always hope you leave being totally inspired to make something beautiful!  Make ART!

Gina K. Designs September Release Inspiration Blog Hop, Day 2!!

Hey Y'all!  Glad to see you!  :D

Welcome to the 2nd day of this month's blog hop!  Super excited to share these sets this time...LOVE this time of year!  Today we have two more sets to showcase for you, hopefully make you wanna get all creative with them too!  :D  And as always, be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs, which if you comment on each one, it betters your chance of winning! ;)  We will be giving away a $50 gift certificate for each day, THREE of them! yay! Ok, enough yadayada from me!  On to the good stuff!

Up first today we have Theresa Momber's set, Rustic Autumn

LOVE that barn!  And actually, the shape of it is how my grand parents barn was!  So it REALLY brought back memories!  Milk cow kicking me on my leg, horse biting my butt...lmbo!  But it was such sweet awesome memories!  Here is what I have done with this set:

I was going for a 'postcard' feel to it.  I stamped the barn, then after coloring i cut the sides and top of the image out.  (if the blue sky wasnt in the background you would see the inside of the card)  I then created a sky panel to go behind the barn image with the stamped trees from the set.  I can almost smell the Autumn air!  ha!  And then I did a bit of paper piecing on them pumpkins:

This is a CAS on my beloved kraft cardstock!  I hand drew that frame and then masked off before stamping the tree.  Tied a bit of twine in a bow and stick it to it with that awesome Connect Glue and was done!  Seriously, its HARD for me to do a CAS card so I kinda like this one!  :D Oh and i did ONE more, haha...

Couldnt resist those little sunflowers!  I also used the Elegant Script background stamp on this too (OMG loving our new background stamps!!)  This card just screams HAPPY to me!

Ok, up next is Lisa Hetrick's set, Something Good in Everyday
Look at all of the fun  elements in this set!  I love sets like this, when you have so many ways it can be used...makes your purchase even better!  :D  Here is what I have done for today with this set:

I had intended for this card to be one using that new Alcohol Lift Ink, but it failed, lol!  SOoooo I saved it by just smearing and blending colors around, LOL!  The flower is stamped on Tranquil Teal cardstock in white and then heat embossed with white also, as is the sentiment on vellum.  I wish I had of added a bit of distressing on the image panel though, I think that would have added to it, lol!  ahhh well, we are our worse critics, right?  :D  Ok, I have one more with this set:

I stamped the tree ring and cut it out and then just layered some of the leaves and the flower and the sentiment all haphazardly on it.  I dug up and old, OLD corner punch and used it and seems to kinda fit with this card I think!  Ok, ready for some awesome eye candy?  ME TOO!  I always love seeing what my fellow DT make, it truly inspires me too!  Here are  the links...dont forget to comment!

Thanks so very much for the sweet comments and compliments yesterday!  I truly love reading them and seeing them all!  Come on back tomorrow for another day of inspiration for you!  It's the new StampTV kit! woohooo!

Gina K. Designs September 2018 Release Inspiration Blog Hops! Day 1

Hey Y'all!  Glad you stopped by!

Welcome to our September Release!  I LOVE this time of year, so goes along with me loving this release maybe a tad more  thank other release, lol!  (I admit, I do love them all...one reason I have stayed around for oh almost 10 years!  :D )  We all are so very excited to share our creations with you for this release!  We will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to one lucky commenter from each day! total of three winners! Be sure to check the Big News forum on StampTV a few days after the hops to see the winners.   Ok now for what you came here for!!  :D

Up first today Melanie's set, Men Of Faith

Here is what I have done with this set:

When first seeing this set, I knew I had to put a cross charm in his hands!  I stamped the image with versamark, then heat embossed in clear.  All done on Kraft cardstock form Gina K. of course!  Now this next card, I debated whether to show or not because Billy said it looked like the dude was in prison...haha!  Here it is though:

I little different view trying to show the inside:

Thats chicken wire, not jail bars!  LOL! This was made by stamping with silver ink and heat embossing the words and then cutting them out to add in this manner.  But I personally think, its ok maybe?  :D

Ok, next up is a set by Rina, Mandala Maker
This awesome set can be used with the Wreath Maker, but it can also be stamped free hand in OH SO MANY WAYS!

Omg ive only barely touched the surface in creating with this set!  For this, I colored in some of the details with white gel pen and a gold marker also.  I cut out a few of the leafy looking images and inserted some red cardstock to give it some pop!  Added a bit more red accents and called it done!  so fun!!

Ok, ready for more eye candy?  Just follow the links below to my fellow DT!!

That's all from me for today!  Be sure to come on back by tomorrow, same time, same place!  Got lots more of this release to share with you!!

Stamps and tape and dies, OH MY!  So loving this winter release!  Now we are able to make allll things sparkly and good through the winter!  :D

And we will be giving away one $50 gift certificate for this one day hop so be sure and comment on each blog...that makes your chances better at winning!  Winner will be announced probably on Friday of this week too!

Ok!  First up is the Holly Jolly set of goodies!  Stamps, stamp n foil sheets, and dies!
Here are a few of my cards I have made using this set:

For this card i used some of the striped toner sheets from Therm o Web also.  I used the gold sequin foiling on the poinsettias and decided to just add some sparkle with a glitter pen, leaving them white.  I added seed beeds to the middle of the flowers.  The sentiment is heat embossed with red glitter embossing powders.  Here is an upclose photo, trying to capture the sparkle!
and another card using this set:
For this card I used the ornament stamp and the stars are embossed with gold foil.  I distressed this one a bit, going for a 'rustic' look.  I also heat embossed the 'merry' with gold.  The Christmas is a die cut and the gold behind it is also.

Ok next up is the Baby It's Cold Outside set of goodies:
I really have had a fun with this set!  Ill admit, i always have a hard time lining stuff up for two-step stamping!  So i just stamped without doing that at first!  (then my awesome fellow DT helped out!!)  Here is what I have to show you today:
I decided to make a gift bag!  I stamped all over the brown paper sack, ended up cutting it down and then used a tag (from a previous GKD and TOW collab!) and did a bit of masking on the tag and foiled the big snowflake in silver  How cute is this sack?  I LIKE it...and thats saying alot, haha!  Here is a close up:
Ok, now I have one more to show you today:

I decided to do some beading on that big snowflake!  It turned out awesome and I do believe ill make some ornaments out of this this year, but do two and put together, kwim?  I also created the background on the blue by stamping with the same color of ink as the cardstock (powder blue) and white and versamark ink also.    This is Billy's pick!

Ohhh!!  I almost forgot to tell you about that awesome tape!  LOVE it!  Just like Gina K.'s glue, it is awesome to work with!  I love that you just a bit of play time to move if you get it crooked (yes i do)!  But then its STUCK!

Ok, ready for more awesome inspiration?   I know they are gonna make me go WOW a bunch of times!  Here ya go, follow the links below to my fellow DT!

Ok!  Thats all for today!  I plan on posting some clay pendants I made also here in the next few days, if i remember, haha!  But I am glad you stopped by!  YOU truly make this fun!!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration with Gina K. Designs 2018

Hey y'all!!  so glad you hopped by!  Welcome to our little blog hop showcasing a  Gina K. Designs exclusive stamp set with Simon Says Stamp!

All of us designers here with Gina K. Designs are thrilled to be invited back to do a fun little blog hop introducing the exclusive stamp set by Gina K. called Joy of the Season.

AND dont forget the dies that match!
How fun do these Look!?!  I can confirm, THEY ARE!  :D  Now, I do want to get in right here that we will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp to a lucky soul who comments!  More blogs you comment on, more chances to win!  Ok, now let me show you what I have created with this set for today:

For this card I used the tree line images to make my little snow scene.  I love the sentiment on this, because being from East Texas, we dont get a whole lot of snow (ice, yes!) so when we do, its just gorgeous to me!  Ok, ok, I hear the northern folks laughing at me, saying come on up here and see how long you think its gorgeous, hahaha!  Im telling you, I WANT to, buy B (the hubby) dont! To I first stamped the trees and heat embossed in black, then I created the background with distress oxide inks and water and white paint flicked on for the 'snow'  I used dies to cut the snow banks and the little glittered deer was in a package of them at Hobby Lobby, with the little miniature tree stuff.  I popped it up to give it some dimension to it. Then tied the gold cording and was done!

And one more for today:

For this card, used some wrapping paper from last year that I had left over.  I then stamped and heat embossed the ornament images directly onto the paper, then used distress ink around the ornaments to 'age' the paper some.  I also heat embossed the reindeer image in gold and used some pop dots to pop it up some.  The gold star/twine is wrapped around a couple of times to act as a bow.  I little trick I do with this stuff, since it likes to tear holes in papers...I used packing tape to attach to the back.  I place it how i want on the front, like this one, kinda overlapping, and then the wire is bent over the edge, then I add the packing tape and it hold it very good!

Ok, that's all from me, hope you have been inspired just a bit by me!  If not, I bet you will be with  my fellow Design Team!  Here are the links below:

Thanks so very much for letting me share my creations with you today, and everyday really!  I do so enjoy doing it!  Remember, comment as much as you can!  If ya win, you could get this set!! :D  just in time for all those Christmas cards!
