Accordion Tag card

A couple of weeks ago, Sharon from No Time to Stamp/Stamp Simply's weekly challenge was to do an accordion fold card and I decided to play along. I wasnt real thrilled with how mine turned out though is why I havent posted it yet, but now I am, lol. Here is is:

The letters 'JOY' were cut using my slice machine....I should use that thing more often, it really has some neat stuff on it! And then I stitched around each letter, hand stitched that is...that is one reason I decided to go ahead and post this after spending so much time on it, lol! I sponged like crazy to give it an antique look, and it also has some gold shimmer mist on it, which of course you cant see in this picture! Anyways, its kinda growing on me a bit...

And just a little update on Blake, my grandson....The xrays showed he had some backed up plumbing!! Extremely so! All the way to his stomach...I can only imagine how miserable he had to be! It just upsets me that it took 3 doctor visits to get the doctor to finally do something. They put him on Miralax, 3 doses for 2 days, then once a day for a week, and this Thursday he goes back to make sure it has moved on out like it should....and the 3rd day, he pooped about 10 times, lol. Sooo, hoping its moving like it should now...but still makes me wonder what made it do that in the first place....

ok, thats about all for now! Hope you had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. It's starting to rain here now, and I am hoping its gonna cool back off..this sure doesnt feel like its almost Thanksgiving!!

That is great news about Blake. Your post made me laugh. Only moms (and grandmas) can freely talk about poop and not make it sound gross. Thanks, by the way, for your lovely comment on my blog. It really means a lot coming from you. It's been a joy getting to know you through GKD.
