Featurd Stamper Challenge

Today's Featured Stamper on SCS was BECCA . I have long been a lurker/stalker of her blog, and rarely post to her...I feel so unworthy! LOL! She is one of those stampers that always make me think...'does she EVER do an UGLY card???' You know the kind I mean? LOL! Or am I just strange for thinking that...could be...haha! Anyways...Here is the card of Becca's that I CASEd:

Becca's card

And here is mine:

I kinda like how this card turned out. It actually almost makes me smell the coffee! This card also had a war wound on it. I stabbed my index finger with the tip of my scissors as I was cutting the twine, didnt hurt real bad, just kinda made me say ouch and look at it...so continued working and just fixing to tie the beads on the twine and I have this big drop of blood right on the middle of card. YUK! It would have been hidden by the coffee panel, BUT I couldnt stand the thought of giving it to someone with a blood spot on it! LOL! So had to redo one of the underneath part circles there, lol. thank goodness wasnt all over the card though...anybody else ever have war wound from our craft? My only other one I have had was when I first got my heat gun, sucked my hair right up in it bending over closer to look at the embossing, was very first time to do heat embossing too, lol. Love to hear ya'll's stories too if you have time!

Kinda got off topic there didnt I? LOL! Well, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that Monday isnt too bad for ya!

Wow! Cat, this is gorgeous! I love the colors, gives it drama. Glad you were able to save it from the war wound.

This is a fantastic card! I can smell the coffee way over here in NC :o))) Sorry you sustained an injury...sometimes this can be a bloody hobby. (LOL)
Just last week I was removing the cutting blade on my Fiskars cutter and somehow pierced my index finger. I checked it and there was no blood so continued to work...the bleeding came later, about the time I was finished and I had to redo two parts of the card. No one needs to actually see the blood, sweat and tears that goes into a card :o)))) It is still healing and smarted for the longest time! Be careful and craft on!
