I've done several cards for the hop and will try to keep my chattering to a minimum. LOL!! Here is my first creation:
This was a fun card to make! I used gelatos to make the background. I wanted a warm color to go with the sunflower stamp, for a recipient who needs a bit of cheering up while sick! :D Super easy card to make though! The white is paint splatters I added to it for more grunge look!
Next is a card made with leftovers on my table. I try to do this everytime, us up the leftovers right then, because chances are, Ill never pull it out of my scrap pile to use every again, lol! i KNOW me! ha! ANYways, here is the card:
And last but not least, my favorite of the bunch Ive made:
this card uses the emboss resist technique and I also used the gelatos on this one to create the background for it. I also used some molding paste and stencil to add to the background and it also gives texture to the card.
Ok, ready for more awesome inspiration? I am! Let's go hop to my fellow Cast and Crew!

Stunning cards Cat!! I love when you use different mediums on your cards!!
I always love your grungey and mixed meda approach, Cat -- all these cards are stunning! (Looks like we were both in the mood to use our leftover scraps, LOL)!
Cat....so so sooo cool!!! You are sure ROCKIN' the texture!! These are gorgeous!! I love the paint splattering!!

Wow eye popping beautiful. Love the colors and bling. I love yellow and black together also.
I'm loving the colors.
These are all very lovely cards. Such beautiful colors and and uses of them in different ways. Just beautiful.
What a rich and elegant look the darker solid florals are on that paler yellow hue. And, as always you have created super fantastic ways of using those images in the new kit. I can hardly wait for the mail to bring mine to my door!
Such gorgeous cards! Loved the first one - and then the third one appeared! Too hard to pick a favorite!
Love this set and your cards!
I'm gobsmacked by these gorgeous, sunny cards!
wow these are stunning!

Love your emboss resist card. Amazing color in that background and love the flower image. Adds an understated, elegant feel.
They're all lovely, but the last is my favorite as well!

Love all the details on your cards CAT! Fab job!
Love the cards. Really want to try the background technique on the last card.
Cat, what lovely cards, have not tried the Gelatos but have seen them demonstrated. Your cards with the sunflowers are such happy cards, but my favorite is the last card. Thanks for sharing.
These colors are stunning. Like the sunflowers the best.
You cards make me super excited !!! Gorgeous!
fab cards. I love you gelatos technique card. WOW
Beautiful creations with these stamps and techniques.
Really nice cards. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are right about creating with the scraps right away. I almost never go back to my scrap pile. I love all of the cards that you did. the first one is sooooo different. but I do like the grunge look that you achieved on the last card. Thanks
Awesome cards, Cat! The versatility of the stamps and the ways you used various methods is awesome to me. I love what you did with leftovers!
Beautiful cards!
Ummm, WOW!!! It's not often that I am speechless! LOL! You have such an incredible style with amazing details!
All of these are beautiful works of art! And I'm with you, I think I like that last one the best.
Love all three cards Cat. So much inspiration here. My favorite is your favorite. Love the colors and texture on that third card.
Your favorite is my favorite, too! Love that!
Stunning cards Cat! I love the richness and warmth of the colors, I need to try out these gelatos. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your cards are different in a good way! Love the second yellow card better. Thanks
I am sticking with the third one because I like those colors better and I need to learn to stencil...what a cool idea.
Well I am glad you can choose a favorite. Each one is lovely and unique. I would love to see your embellishment collection because you always seem exactly the right ones to use on each card.
Very interesting and beautiful cards.
What interesting and unique cards! The third one is also my favorite.
Beautiful cards - love the colors and embellishments.

The yellow is so pretty -- warms me right up! Fabulous card!
Gorgeous Cat!
Wow these cards are over the top.. FABULOUS.. Thanks for sharing your talent
Beautiful cards!!
Hi Cath: Great cards. Love the use of yellow. I agree with you, the peach colored card is also my favorite. Need to come up with creative ways to recreate the look in the absence of stencils and embossing paste.
All great cards, but I agree with you, I like #3 best!. I want to get some gelatos. Never tried them, they seem to produce beautiful results.
Love your cards - so bright and cheerful. Got some gelatoes but haven't tried using them yet.
Wow! Cat, these are awesome. I wonder why my scraps don't turn into the gorgeous card you created?
WOW! Fantastic cards.
I like your embellishment layering. Very creative.
I enjoyed your use of the gelatos
something I've not tried yet but love the look on your cards thanks for the inspiration
These are so pretty and I especially love the vibrant colors you have chosen. But I think I'll have to agree the last is the favorite. Great job. :)

Stunning cards ! Great idea to use leftovers to make another card. Thanks
I must say none of these look 'super easy' as you describe the first one which actually looks the most complicated, but certainly all are wonderful and inspiring. TFS
I have never used gelatos, great examples and I too like the last one as favorite in the bunch. You sound like me in the way you work to use scraps right away because I don't usually go back to them once I add them to the pile.
these are stunning cards and I will use your tip to use my scraps up instead of putting them in a drawer. Really good idea.
What amazing cards. I love the very first one. It is just my style. Thanks for sharing
Hi Cat! You have such a cool eye for design! I esp love how you achieve a touch of distress or even a tiny bit grunge with edges of papers, using the molding paste with stencil, and the colors. LOVIN' it!!!!!
I love that your cards are so different. I would never have expected this style to work with these stamps. Super creative!
Great cards Cathy! Love the colors.
Gorgeous cards. I love the beautiful backgrounds on all your cards. I think gelatos might have to go on my shopping list.
Super cards Cathy. I honestly thought the first two were made with designer papers until you explained how you made them. And I can see why the third is your favourite. Jenny x
i really like the resist card - it's lovely
Pretty cards! That first one totally intrigues me! Love it!
They are all just beautiful!!!!!!
WOW Cat! These are ALL gorgeous! So much to look at and admire!
What a wonderful trio of gorgeous cards! The emboss resist is my favorite - it's a beautiful background showcasing those gorgeous flowers and I love the color variation too!
