Today, we are showcasing Theresa Momber's Peace and Joy. I have a couple of cards to show you today. This first one is the one I used glitter on! :D Yes, Ill be sparkly for about a week at least now! But I do like what the little strips of platinum glitter added to it!
I stamped and colored a bunch of the holly image and then used versamark ink and embossing powder on them too. Thus the glossy looking leaves to those holly! (like IRL!) i then strung them on some jute and tied them to the card! Pretty simple! Ok, next a technique card I did, Cracked Glass!
I had forgotten about this technique and was thrilled how it turned out! Gotta watch burning them fingers in doing this though, lol! I have two burned spots from this! And a close up of the 'cracked Glass' :

Loving the sparkle and the cracked glass is amazing. Is there a video on how to do this somewhere??
It's been a long time since cracked glass was demonstrated in Gina K, and your card turned out beautifully. I like the stringing of holly leaves on your first card, and the technique you used to make them shine. Refreshing!
Great card designs and techniques.
Very nice effect with the cracked glass. I had forgotten about it, too. I'm glad you reminded me. Both cards are gorgeous. I'm a glitter girl myself, so I have a soft spot for the first card. Thanks for sharing.
These cards are stunning!! Love the cracked glass technique...and thanks for the reminder, haven't done it in quite some time.

WOWZA, I am a sucker for technique cards and added dimension! Love the lace and that cutout at the bottom with the cracked glass. Love the hanging leaves too! LOL, I rarely use glitter and I did yesterday too. Ugh, I sparkle. Your glitter looks great.
Great inspiration here, Cat! Love, love, love the broken glass. I, too, had forgotten about this great technique!

Very nice designed cards. The first one must have taken you ages with all the fussy cutting!! The cracked glass is perfect for the second card - makes it look like ice. Thank you for such amazing ideas.
Cracked glass - lovely touch for a wintery card.
Gorgeous Cards Cat! I love them both. I may have to try that cracked glass look. I also love your glitter!!!! :)

Awesome cards!! Will have to look up the cracked glass technique - never tried it. On the first card, did you use glitter paper or glitter tape for the stripes? Very nice touch! Thanks for all you do for us.
